  1. THANK YOU! It's nice to know I'm not the only one!
  2. With all of this uncertainty, one thing is for sure... there will definitely be a Roadie #42 blog after the boat tour! Well, at least there should be.
  3. frustrated
  4. Oh, excellent point! And if they were going to make a restriction, it seems like THAT would be the more relevant restriction, to the 50 quid seats.
  5. From Ian's post earlier, it sounds like he was already in touch with her today. :\
  6. Wow, yeah that kind of sucks. Hopefully one of them is lurking here to see how anxious most people are to know the date.
  7. If I call the charity number, I'm just going to get the same lady as it is her direct line. And I'd sound like a beeatch if I'm like, "hey I wanna talk to your supervisor". And I don't really even know who set the ad-hoc "rule" anyway; she didn't say if that was Crisis' decision, or See tickets. I suppose I could contact Debs, but at the same time Anchorman hasn't responded to my question from Saturday, so I also don't want to sound likea beeatch from that perspective either, because it will sound like I'm trying go over/around his head too. :bigcry:
  8. What should we do?!?!????? The lady I spoke with said there is always a chance that some tickets could go back up for auction after Friday if people don't pay. But she said that would be unlikely since so many people have already paid. Plus if there was that "rule" anyway, it wouldn't matter. I told her that people already made plans and intentionally bid a certain amount to ensure those plans (i.e, coming from across the pond and hence really trying to make the trip worthwhile), and she sounded sympathetic but there wasn't really anything she could personally do about it. It's not like I could get mad at the lady, it's not her fault.
  9. :bigcry: But I really don't want to bother her after already sending an e-mail to Anchorman on Saturday inquiring if he knew what was up. Of course, that was before I found out this lovely little detail.
  10. Yeah apparently that was the "rule"; although it was NOT stated in the Terms & Conditions. I knew you they would take the highest bid from one gig (if you happened to bid on both types for the same gig), but there was NOTHING stated that you couldn't win from each one. I'm not trying to sound greedy or anything, it's just that... plans have already been made. Plus I would think they would want to raise the MOST for the charity, and that is completely counterproductive to that goal!
  11. Pardon my French but FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!! I just called the Charity, and you are only allowed to attend one gig. Smooth. Would have been nice to know that before making plans! So that's why I haven't received confirmation for Liverpool yet.
  12. Still haven't heard anything about Liverpool. :| Although I did get a nice little e-mail from See this morning, "oh we just noticed you are an international customer so we should probably give you the bank's IBAN and SWIFT numbers, since you'll need that." Mmmmkay. I did the transfer for Newcastle on Friday... or at least I THINK it got there.
  13. :awesome: Last year a store near me was selling Christmas Story fudge. For real. Oh fffffffuuuuuuuudddddgggggge. I'll try to find some more this year, the box it came in was pretty cool!
  14. Cool! Well hopefully I'll see you there. Just checked my e-mail, still nothing yet.
  15. :wtf: That's like, the best holiday movie EVER. They still run 24-hour marathons on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day on cable.
  16. Hmmm, I should check my e-mail then. Was your bid for Liverpool or Newcastle? EDIT: Oh yeah, and congratulations! :awesome:
  17. :awesome: Aww, thanks for the bump! Actually I've been thinking about / noticing another one too. Although I only see one person (with English as first language) doing it on a regular basis. Correct: of course Incorrect: of coarse
  18. a kitty litter box (and some litter)
  19. I think you all should go for the "I can't put my arms down" look
  20. ^ that picture is insane
  21. Well shipping isn't the problem, as I am picking up the ticket at the venue. It's... other stuff.
  22. She's gonna get so many smart-ass responses
  23. My e-mail also said the same thing (includes postage if you chose that option), but it will be obvious based on the price that is in bold. So if your bid was £100, it will show up as £105.25. If it just shows up as £100, you are already set to pick it up at the venue. Yes, everything the bank should need will be on the e-mail. They will need the sort code and account number that is below the bank address, I don't think they need the charity number but it is there anyway, and also your reference number.
  24. seetickets sucks although I suppose I actually learned that a few days ago
