You know, I've noticed a little pattern ever since the "server issues" were sorted out. My theory could be way off, since I've never run a website I really have no clue. I'm wondering if maybe after any fixes that EMI did to the server, the site can't be viewed properly when Coldplay peeps are updating the site. The site seems to be (to some degree) inacessible right before things are updated to upload the daily art for the Exhibition Room, uploading Oracle posts or news items. In the past people could still view the site as those daily updates were occuring, but I think now that's not the case; when admin is accessing it for updates, nobody else can. But again, I could be way off.

I'm sure instructions will be posted at some point in the near future. But basically, you are "assigned" someone that you will send a holiday card to. But they don't know that you will be the one sending it, until they receive it. Hence, it is a "secret" who their "santa" will be. And then someone else will do the same for you.

It may sound weird, but I'm indifferent. Really, I could go either way. I don't have a burning desire to have a kid. But at the same token, I don't want to be 60 years old and then look back and regret not having a kid.

I wonder if any of the band's peeps are lurking on here. I'd be curious to see their reactions to our reactions. People in this thread are either "wwwooooooo hooooooooooooo awesome" or "eeeeewwwwww please no". There's not much middle ground.

I'm going to try hard to find it. It was a picture in a magazine, from when they were staying at the Four Seasons in Mexico City (I think) during the LA tour. While Guy was going shirtless poolside, Will was keeping snug in a robe. So really, he's actually covering up more than if he were wearing regular clothes, so it's not as :dead: as it sounds. But I'll see if I can find it!

Yes, definitely interested, I had a lot of fun being a secret santa last year. :wacky: I can volunteer to help; I am motivated to help avoid what happened last year with some people (including myself) not receiving something from their secret santa. :disappointed: Although Alison (redgirl76) was nice enough to send me a sympathy card. :nice: I still have it hanging up in my cubicle at work.

SPCAs and the Humane Society and those places tend to do that though. I almost wonder if it's a requirement. Another recent example is a black cat found hiding underneath a rock during wildfires in Colorado. It was alive, but obviously had a few burns. What did they name it? Yip... Yeah, I didn't even know this thread existed! Of course the last post before Angie's bump was before I joined, so that's probably why I never noticed. This could get bad. I need to ignore this and just stick to the regular Will thread.
