Technicolor Sparks

I think we cover galaxies and star formation in Galaxies and the Universe, but this term we covered the Doppler shift, magnitude, sky ccoordinates, and all the solar system stuff. But we just finished all the planets so it's hard to keep everything straight! Like which moons go with which planet, characteristics of the planets and their moons, and all that. :dizzy: Cool, that would be fun to minor in. :)

Yep! This term I had Solar Systems, and next term Galaxies and the Universe. I'm taking arts, but they're my science electives (we need two). It's really interesting, but I haven't really studied much for it, so it could be a disaster! What kinds of stuff did you talk about in your astronomy class?

haha I do that too :P I had Sociology yesterday, and then I have a Literature exam tomorrow, Astronomy on Tuesday, and then Artifact Analysis on the 20th. What about you?

I use way too many notebooks! I make lists of everything. And I study by copying out my notes a zillion times, so that takes up a lot of notebooks and paper. And ink. I've used up about five pens in the last 2 months!

I guess the monarchy has more of a role in the UK, but in the Commonwealth countries it just costs us money!

She's supposedly our Head of State, but she doesn't do anything. We have a prime minister and politicians that make the decisions and stuff.

There are a lot of celebrities I would marry! Oh, why isn't polyandry acceptable?

There is stuff that our province actually needs to spend the money on, and instead we're paying 4 million dollars for some old lady to hop on a plane, wave to a few people, and fly off again. :dozey:

It's just ridiculous, because the Queen doesn't even pay for her own visits to countries. She was in my province for only 6 hours on her last visit, and it cost the province fucking $4 million!

I think it's rather pointless. I mean, they are basically just figureheads that cost us money. I know that there are a lot of mixed feelings about the monarchy, so I want to hear what you guys think. Discuss!
