Autonomous sensory meridian response
Different people have different things that it works for. My friend gets it when he watches somebody writing something. it's kind of like an inner peace, I guess. i get it when somebody is drawing me. Some people get it when they hear specific whispering. Some people don't get it at all.

2015 Upcoming Releases
The Aphex Twin EP came today. Definite comparisons to the darker sides of Drukqs. Very similar in percussion. It's missing some single style songs but then it's only an EP. Great to have him back releasing things. Think this one will be a grower. Happy with first listen. Have this ordered on vinyl. Heard it yesterday. Once again a return to form. String based like Vespertine and Homogenic but minus the single style songs. Another grower and some real beauty in there. Again always great to hear new Bjork. and glad she's out the Volta phase.

Autonomous sensory meridian response
I guess it's the closest thing I've experienced to orgasm or euphoric drug use, though to a lesser extent and something you can come in and out of, with more control.

Autonomous sensory meridian response
I struggle to explain it, hence why I've never bothered to articulate it to anybody before until I've seen that it's an actual thing. I can only describe it as a minor paralyses or a temporary removing from oneself, like you'd find in an orgasm but without the intense pleasure.

Anyone lives in London/Brighton/South East Coast area?

I can't watch it at the moment but given the title of the video I think it will be that, yes.

Anyone lives in London/Brighton/South East Coast area?
I think I have when I was younger, though I don't remember it. Yeah, me and a few cpingers met up in Birmingham last year but we were out of time for the Cadbury thing.

Not at all. It's great for museums, shopping, architecture and it's got a great night life. It's pretty much the third city but more interesting than the second city, Birmingham. It's a football place as much as London is, which has about 8 football teams within it. That's just one easily ignorable aspect of it.

Autonomous sensory meridian response
So I recently discovered I have this. I've always been aware of it though didn't know it was an actual thing and it doesn't happen to me enough for it to be a part of my general everyday consciousness so isn't something I've looked into. Turns out I have a rather narcissistic version of it, in that I get it when somebody is drawing me. Feel a bit Dorian Gray about the whole thing haha, but it really is bliss. I think it's the closest I can get to meditation. My friend gets it from watching people write. Anybody else experience this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomous_sensory_meridian_response

I'm glad I'm not a girl
Ah, so after a few days, page 3 is back in the Sun Newspaper. After having seemingly insinuated that almost constant the picture of a young woman revealing her breasts on the third page was outdated for a modern family newspaper, it turns out that it was a publicity stunt. How wonderful that some of the most privileged, who seem to often view themselves as moral arbiters of the country have decided to use genuine concern over gender roles as a platform to make more money and get further advertisement for their paper. Notable irony being that they asterisked out the 'i' within the word 'tit', on that page, seemingly putting forward the concept that you can look at a pair on this page, but you're not allowed to see the word written down as that would be taking it too far.

Can we move this to the Coldplay section? has the potential to be a good thread, just not here.

Coldplay Miracles
I wouldn't call it a miracle. They are pretty well advertised and promoted. Alas, very tricky to avoid them.

What have you learned today?
Some people prefer jamming. Some people prefer sitting down and trying to work a song out. I more and more prefer the latter.
