  8. This someone should be Brian Eno.... I'll say it once again, Coldplay references are too obvious sometimes. I agree in thinking it's something completely unintentional though.
  9. One of the most obvious from the VLV album was Lovers in Japan versus Neighbouhood #3 by Arcade Fire and so many others, there are references from Radiohead lyrics too and so on. But oh well. We love them just like that! :)

  12. Many Coldplay songs sound similar to songs from other artists/bands... in fact, a lot of bands have musical and lyrical references, even Radiohead! lol but well, let's say that Coldplay references are pretty obvious sometimes. Not a bad thing for me though :)

  18. Yes, I think it's too early for a tour... I was just curious about it. Here's the link: http://www.long-brit.com/2010/09/coldplay-primicia-primicia.html It's in spanish, here's the translation: Coldplay. Breaking news...!!! September 6th, 2010 by LONG BRIT magazine I'll repeat what it's always said. Yes, Coldplay is already super popular and Chris Martin appears everywhere. BUT (a great "but"), NO ONE (a "no one" in caps) can or could ever discuss the musical quality of this british band called Coldplay. The undeniable succesors of U2 await more critics than possitive comments, because, let's face it, envy is a great deal and leads easily to critic anything objectively brilliant and solid. Let's go with the news, that it's not one, but two! First of all, that in the recent APPLE EVENT 2010, Coldplay again presented a new song from what would be their 5th album. The song is called "Wedding Bells" and here is the video: Of course, we also leave you here another video where Chris makes a quick review not only of "Wedding Bells", but for "Christmas Lights" too, another new single. Second of all, to tell you that people from Long Brit here heard a rumour (a very solid rumour) back in June. It seems like, if there's no other change, Coldplay will start their new world tour in Palacio de los Deportes in the city of Madrid, by the end of the year. Obviously, who humbly writes this lines and has gone to gigs in their two last tours in their visit to our country, will be looking forward for this and will be fast in buying the tickets as soon as they are on sale (last time didn't even last a day); and of course, we will keep you updated with more news. (By JRGE) Maybe my translation could be better, but I think it's pretty understandable :P
  19. If I ever hear Amsterdam live, that would make up for all the not-played-songs-that-I-would-like-to-hear.
  20. I know it's a bit early to think of a tour but... I've read in some music blog that besides from releasing LP5, the guys are going on tour by the end of the year, starting in Madrid, Spain? Anyone heard/read of it before? :stunned:
  21. Idioteque - Radiohead
  22. can anybody stop this thing ...?
