Well actually this is absolutely my favourite Coldplay song of the week - Christmas Lights

Well, it would be perfect. But there's one thing you shouldn't do. I love the piano sound it's really wonderful, but you should use the other one instead to do the melody line because those layers are covering each other, you know what I mean?

Yes, but I assume that you posted it to get our honest opinions, and you didn't expect only to hear/read compliments. Well, my opinion is that I think it's bad and I didn't like it.

I watched a lot of covers and neither one is good if it's about that part. It's really hard to replace the singing and Chris sings this line so weirdly beautiful. Well I'm only playing the piano part because it still sounds wonderful, I play vocal line only in the chorus. I hope you're gonna pefect it and when that happens I want to listen to that again. Oh and please do the solo too :D

Well, not much better, but better. Everything is great besides the lack of Chris' solo, and I don't like the "and I'm still waiting" part, maybe because I love it and I wanted it do be really, really awesome. But still I like yours better, good job.

Still waiting for the snow to fall, it doesn't really feel like Christmas at all! I love it! And he moves his head so funny while singing it the second time.

Well probably I'm a retard and everybody already has it but the begining should sound (I think) like that: LH just DG and the RH single notes : G, F#, BDC then the bass line is G, G, D F# and the right hand plays G,A,B, and lower B and you play D note with all of them, it's like this: LH---RH G-----DG -------DA -------DB G-----DB (lower) D F# And then you play E then F# on the bass and G,E,G,D,B,A,G,D with right hand I got a big exam tomorrow so that's why I did only that and I apologise if you don't understand it :shame:
