That's such a weird scene. Dick had problems, challenging an 18 year old to a fight ... but I'm not sure what the scene did for the movie. I see that scene and the Dick/Carl scene and think that there was a more developed Dick-story line that got left on the cutting room floor, the small remnants seen in these two scenes.

agreed. i like some of his stuff, but i tend to like the stuff that's less rambling.
