They just announced again on the radio station that they will be airing (at least some) of Coldplay's show tonight, which is infinitely better than nothing at all.

No, thats wrong. Coldplay will be on at around 22.25 UK time, its now 21.06 so they will literally be on 'later'. They said that they would be airing Coldplay later and a few minutes ago they switched to another band live at the festival, so there is every reason to believe they will air coldplay.

And i also respect and understand your point of view, but when compared to Glastonbury, Gothenburg and Werchter for example, i think this performance doesnt necessarily stand out for me, all the more so even though it has been specifically televised.

Not one of the best performances so far and a pretty average crowd at best.. but they can only get better.
