Yeah they do have to do a bit of promoting unfortunately. Actually my first taste of Gorillaz came before I really knew who they were-the dance version of 19/2000 played in an ad for Dentyne gum. I thought it sounded catchy. Later when I bought the album and heard the virst version I THOUGHT it sounded familar-then the club version came on toward the end and I was like, 'OK! I know this!' :lol: I also remember they promoted 'Feel Good Inc' as a call tone for I think Verizon. But really, they're not whoring themselves out like so many of these acts and I respect them for doing what they need to. Honestly, if I meet Damon or Jamie (this would have to be HUGE fate BTW) at the PHX show, I'm giving them a big hug and telling them THANK YOU. Just hope I don't scare them. :confused:

I don't understand why people nowadays tend to favor the electronic bleeps and autotuning that's put out there as 'music'. Its really killing the industry. What's weird is that I read one magazine quote that said that you'd never seen them being lovey-dovey with each other because they're too strong-minded of people-but pretty much every pic I've seen they have some kind of PDA-in fact I've never seen it in pics with him and Suzi (aside from of course that they created Missy, which is awesome right there-and I'm not questioning it or anything, just something that I've noticed. Of course they've never had, you know, 'public' pics of them either aside from that one at a party celebrating Blur. :D) Damon BB, I'm really looking hard and can't see the tartan which you speak of!
