One of my friends had her friend who attended pick me up a copy. It's only costing me like 5 dollars or so. He didn't get it signed, but I didn't really want a signed copy anyway. I'm just glad I managed to find a way to get one because last I heard there are some going for like 60 bucks on ebay if not more.

I'm going both nights. The signs would be awesome. I saved the last two from the concerts.

I'm a bit late on posting but I'm going to both shows. I waited outside the Wells Fargo when they went on sale. I was number 32 in line and people were coming out saying there wasn't any good seats left so I was a bit disappointed but I managed to get a good seat for each night....miraculously! I'm in section 114 for the 5th and section 124 for the 6th. I checked seating charts and they looked good. Can't wait it's been 3 years since I last saw them!

I did read your original post and "Does it really matter if it was plagarised or sampled?" is a question which led people to voice their opinions on the topic all them basically about sampling. Then you closed your original post with "There's nothing added, they just took a sample and lazily slapped a vocal over it, with some horribly generic lyrics and buzz words about "The kids dance" and "Rebel song" to give this impression that Chris is thinking on another level- Chris is a fucking idiot. " Which led to me posting and defending them on the accusation of laziness.

I like it. If that makes other people think less of me and term me as a fan girl who will like anything they put out-whatever I don't care. I like it because it's a good song. "So you can hurt, hurt me bad but still I'll raise the flag" LOVE this lyric. Also in the beginning it mentions escaping into your favorite song. Who hasn't done that? I know people have been trashing the lyrics but I think they are beautiful. I think people are stuck on this idea that since it is the new single and it's been awhile since the last Coldplay release it needs to be a monumental, groundbreaking masterpiece. It's a good solid song. And whats so wrong with it making people happy? That's a good thing, the world needs more happiness.

I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion but reading the posts in this thread really annoyed me. Whether or not it was sampled shouldn't be the issue. Sampling has been going on forever. I don't see why it is accepted for other artists to sample but Coldplay get looked down upon when they do it. If you don't like the song, fine that's gonna happen. But I wouldn't be so quick to accuse them of slapping something together in a hurry. I don't believe it was a lack of effort or as others labeled it lazy. we all know how hard they work on what they put out. Lazy is one word I would never use to describe Coldplay. I believe they deserve a little more respect than that.

I totally agree. I always know the news before they tell me but it's like they try to beat me at it. It's funny.

when you see a guy on the train every morning that you swear looks just like Will. or when everyone you know rushes to tell you Coldplay news and you're like "You know I like Coldpay?" not realizing how often you talk about them.

I got mine today!!! :D It came from Sweden and is from Olivia. It's a lovely handmade card. I got candy canes and butterflies!! I did a happy dance when I seen it waiting for me. I'll try to post pics tomorrow. I'm still excited!!

Being on the same level as The Beatles and being better than The Beatles are two different things. No matter how many years pass there will never be a definitive answer to who is better. It all ultimately comes down to personal preference.

I got mine! I was wondering where I would have to send a card. I'm excited about it. Now all I have to figure out is what to do. I seen pics of last years cards/gifts they were all really cool and creative. I must think of something good. :thinking:
