I'm very nervous to bring this topic up on Coldplaying.com (it's really sensitive topic to bring up anywhere) but still, this is a big argument between Coldplay fans and other people in South Korea. There are rumours which hasn't been proved at all with videos or other media proofs, saying that Coldplay agrees with Imperialism, especially glorifies Japan's war history back at WW2. I believe this is a bullsh*t from people who don't understand the true meaning of the VLVODAAHF album's concept or the whole lyrics of it. But it is true that there was the Lovers in Japan video shown in a concert, with a shot of Japanese army marching. This alone can be enough reason for some people to believe so. That's because for Asian people who are from the countries which were colonised by and suffered from Japan during the first half of 20th century, such as Korea, China, Taiwan etc., Japanese Army or the rising sun flag remind people of the tragic and sorrowful history, just as Nazi or Swastika do for European people. I don't believe it was Coldplay's intention to offend Korean or any other people from Asian countries at all, or they hate any countries without even having been there before(*cough* Korea *cough*), but I hope you guys should remember there might be some other aspect of things you don't know yet, before you say that people get angry about everything without a resonable reasons.

I don't care if I have to wait till 2013 as long as Coldplay have their first concert in South Korea. :fingersx:

I bought a PELOUSE OR ticket at A VOS BILLETS a few mins ago. I don't know why this was so easy after all the hours but still, so excited!

I'm thinking about going to this gig but I haven't decided yet. It's not so easy for me to plan everything for the trip to Europe almost 1 year ahead. So.. it'd be better to get tickets when it's open in about 2 days, right? I didn't think it'd sell out only in 1 or 2 hours. I watched Talented Mr. Ripley and I was really excited to know that all three actors from Mr. Ripley got together again on Contagion! But I was so terrified by Ripley on that film, I still can't get rid of the sick feeling when I see Matt Damon :( Anyway, does anyone know if Gwyneth will do some promotion for Contagion with other cast memebers? I know her role is quite small, but am still looking forward to see her doing it!

Hi, finally today is the day. :dance: I arrived at Liverpool last night. I didn't know the whether in Britain was that bad even though my flight from Dublin was delayed for over an hour. Hope everyone will make it to the gig. I went to the venue on my way to hostel and asked if I need to get there early in the morning, the guy was like 'There's no concert tomorrow.' 'But I bought the ticket for tomorrow's Coldplay concert.' 'Oh yeah, that's right. You don't need to.' :rolleyes::D Anyway, does anyone have an idea if I can bring my camera in the venue? It's Sony H50. It's not a professional DSLR but quite handful so sometimes I couldn't get through with it. But I really do hope that I can bring it... that's my only camera and I really do take some pictures of me (and of the guys of course).
