  1. what can I say? one of the greatest gigs I have ever seen-up there with u2 at the royal court in 83 flaming lips at glasto 2010 and new orders first ever show-I will let people who are more eloquent than me give fuller reviews but for now-thanks coldplay it was worth it all!
  2. picked the tickets up at one o'clock-just getting warm now at home & back into town tonight- hope everyone else gets there ok-keep travelling safely..
  3. we have standing tickets but like you will still go back into town in the evening..even if you are standing near the back at the royal court you'll get a good view current weather in liverpool..snow has stopped falling!..and the sun is shining..not been out tho bet its flippin freezing!
  4. what do you think the best thing to do is-pick the tickets up at 1.00 and go back later for the show?-fortunately I only live about 10 mins away from the royal court and don't really want to spend hours outside in the cold or tramping around the city centre-although the doors open at 7 what time do you think is the best to be queuing to get in-btw I am going with my son & this is the first ever gig he has ever been to -what a start for him!! royal court is a great venue as well-seen some great shows over the years there-u2 on the war tour, echo & the bunnymen,smiths/neworder /fall show-now adding coldplayu to the list (i also saw killing joke and the nolans there(not on the same bill-different shows) but the less said about that the better)
  5. its 8.10 pm in liverpool and the snow is coming down fast & sticking....
  6. just thought it might be st georges hall but the limit there is 800-probably be the grafton though there are always at least 1000 empty seats available at goodison
  7. any one heard more rumours where the liverpool gig will be?
  8. cheers..see what you mean-we'll just have to agree to disagree!
  9. apologies for the delay in replying-been out all day i was a bit too brief re muse-granted they are technically excellent and put on a spectacular show, but for me)& this is where it is personal and everyone has different tastes)..it is all just a show and too calculating-no real passion or humour compared to coldplay for me as well,I am very dubious about any band who parades sci-fi too seriously-it all seems a bit adolescent at best and veers too close to the likes of rush/yes etc however..each to their own..I am sure not many muse fans appreciate the fall or blind willie mctell!...so good luck to them-I just don't get muse thats all
  10. saw muse at glasto 2010 & one of the worst gigs I have ever seen-pious po-faced soulless-it was like punk never happened
  11. see what you mean-but as its been said there is no way to please everyone-its a bit like getting tickets for glasto -just a lottery
  12. i think you will always get some greedy flippers who wil try to make a quick buck-as for the general sales I personally think for once its great to see any band giving a chance to local community to see them & for once not playing in manchester, birmingham or london-ie they would never play liverpool except under such circumstances
