Is This the Most Hate?
Count me in. I plan on speaking up more now. Been on here for years and when they decided you had to be a member to watch videos became one. Then I had to make a new name because I couldn't remember the last password ha so it looks like i'm new but any who I plan on speaking more because the same old haters are drowning out the lovers and it is starting to bother me. I def love this new era and respect what they are doing. You can tell how much Chris loves playing ETIAW live. I was at lolla and it was so good live the energy he brought to it even as the very last song was incredible. He wants everyone to love it and I do. I think it's such a fun song. Paradise is a song I can picture in the sports world after someone wins a title being played.

[20-Sept-2011] Live On Letterman: Ed Sullivan Theater, New York City
Not sure who watched, but it was a really good 1 hour show. Started with the usual MX/Hurts like Heaven Yellow IMP and Major Minus then went straight to Paradise Viva la Vida Charlie Brown then back to The Scientist, then finished with the usual Clocks Fix You and ETIAW, Chris fell down during it. Quite funny. The Crowd got better as the show went on and unexpectedly Chris came back and said since they were so good they would play one more song. After having issues with mics they did Us Against the World without any mics. Very nice show

What do you want the songs to be like?
Also last I checked, they have played Yellow, Shiver, Trouble (once) Everythings Not Lost and Life is for Living during the festivals so it's not like they have forgotten the roots.

What do you want the songs to be like?
All this negative talk makes me wonder what do the haters want the songs to sound like? They obviously love playing in front of large crowds where they can play stadium type anthems. Even Yellow is played faster now to get more of a jolt for the crowd. I have been a fan since Parachutes and really enjoy the MX era so far. In fact, Parachutes is my least favorite album. I felt I was the only one wanting them to play C.O.L over Shiver because it brings more energy. I listen to Arcade Fire, Jay-Z, and Bruce Springsteen and get vibes from all 3 in the new songs. I'm 22 so maybe i'm younger than most? I had some friends let me know today who don't normally like Coldplay say how much they enjoyed Paradise which I like to hear. They are such a tremendous talent, I want as many people to like them. Not just the base who enjoys Parachutes/AROBTH

[5-Aug-2011] Coldplay @ Lollapalooza Festival, Chicago
Hi everyone. I have never posted anything before until today. It says I am a member since November 2010, but I had an old account from 2007 and last fall, when I did my daily check, I had to type my password to read any posts and for the life of me couldn't remember by password from 2007. So I made a new one. Coldplay have been my heroes since 2002 when I was in 8th grade and fell in love with The Scientist. I knew of Clocks and Yellow, but this is when I realized I had to take a look into them and that is when I became a full time fan. My friends sometimes call me simply Coldplay because I always talk or post things on the internet about them. My older sister's wedding we all danced to Viva and I can even credit Coldplay to getting a job for me at a bar last summer. I was known for doing Viva la Vida karaoke and the owner called me Mike the Entertainer and asked if I wanted a job as bouncer lol. I have seen them 3 times live during the Viva la Vida Tour. The 2 times they came to Motown, and I saw them in East Troy Wisconsin. Viva, Fix You, The Scientist, The Hardest Part with Chris on the piano, and Politik are my favorite songs. I love all the new songs even ETDIAW immensely. I noticed the disappointment a lot of people had with it. Not me. Hurts like Heaven is probably my favorite of them. I am going to lolla and I am doing something very crazy according to a lot of my friends. I am skipping my college graduation to see Coldplay. I graduate the 6th from BGSU, which I doubt any of you know. This would be the ultimate graduation experience in my opinion. I have a friend and his GF who are coming along, but do not want to wait early to try and get as close as possible. I was hoping to meet some people? and would like to know how I can make my way as close as possible to seeing my heroes. Thanks!
