^ I hope so! That's also why I think we may get some new material tonight, because there may be a few songs that didn't make the album cut that the guys still want to release (kind of like what they did with Moses). 2 1/2 hours left! :dance:

I had another Coldplay dream last night about the iTunes Festival set. I was sitting backstage and Chris came up to me and said they would be playing all of their new songs first and get them out of the way before they would go on to play their other songs like Clocks and Viva. I hope it comes true :wacky:

He meant that the guys were doing their soundcheck and they were playing a new song to make sure their instruments were in tune and stuff. To keep us all from freaking out over the mention of a new song, he added the hashtag #notforthegig. So they played a new song, but we won't see it at the gig tonight. :)

Years and years from now when Coldplay is no longer together, they should go through all of the completed songs they've never released and either give them to us as free downloads (a la Violet Hill) or release them in a bunch of exclusive bundles every six months or something.

^ To be fair, we don't know that it's a woman either :P I think 'guy' is being used as an all-encompassing pronoun in this context :shrug: But guys, who cares? I think we should just ignore this guy--if he does or doesn't have anything to do with Coldplay, it's not like we'll be able to verify it either way.

^ This song probably isn't a candidate for LP5, since it should have been finished for more than a week now. Maybe it'll wind up as a b-side or on an EP? . . . But it's more than likely that we'll never hear this song on anything :dozey:

I noticed that's what he tagged it as :P He's going to make sure us Coldplayers don't go rabid in suspense, I guess. There's still a chance for more material, though . . . just not this particular song. I wouldn't want to play a song that's less than 18 hours old for a gig anyway, if I were them. They probably don't have all the kinks worked out of it. EDIT: Nevermind :P about 5 of you beat me to it!
