Sierra Kay, as it turns out, i happened to be on that web site for the first time today and i saw the ad that they wanted to put up on CBS. I thought that ad was really funny and got the point across of what the Bush tax-cut will do to our forebears. However, what do you expect from networks that even declined to air the Reagan biopic because of its "controversial" nature? :rolleyes: Too bad, 'cuz otherwise, the ad would have been seen by millions during the Super Bowl, which is the one top program that attracts people on the basis of watching the innovative ads! :D

friggin treehuggers so ridiculous they've got 'animals' in their name. where the heck do you get 'treehuggers' from :rolleyes: <<<< is a strong advocate for protecting the environment, nonetheless

About a Boy...that's a cool movie! :-) Hugh Grant... and it's funny how they show the last scene...kinda not fair to the vegetarians/"hippies". and deep impact...i caught the last half-hour of it...what a melodrama :rolleyes: and in all these movies, there never comes a civilizational end. Except in one...it's worth watching. it's called "The Day After" :stunned: and it's about nuke war.

not feeling good about myself or my place in life. and feel paralyzed and end up not doing things that need to get done. feel empty inside. like last night...i had so many things to do but didn't do much, just sat on the couch and read a little. and then, just 'cuz i felt like i didn't do anything, i went out, drove to the grocery store, and bought myself 2 half-gallon boxes of ice cream (strawberry/vanilla and chocolate/fudge/peanutbutter-cups), 5 donuts, and a frozen cake by Pepperidge Farm, and one carton of mango/blend juice. all i'm doing is eating all this junk, getting fat, not working out, and not being productive. and then today, one of the bosses at work asks us to "justify" why we need one more person to go with us on a biz trip next week.... :rolleyes: and basically, saying that he won't let that guy go with us. and another boss hands out 10 more papers to analyze and report on. :rolleyes: how's that for 'how you feel today?' :angry:

i feel so weird...adrift, not knowing what i want to do. i was not at all productive over the weekend when actually i'd planned to fix up my apt and make it look nice again (or for the first time)...instead, i still have laundry lying around and just stuff to do...and at work, it's even worse. what's in my head? :angry: :angry: :(

"Welcome to Sarajevo" it's from a few years ago, but it was on WB and I'd heard that it was good and that it had won some Oscar(s)...it was a good movie about the war, and the children in crossfire, but it didn't do as good a job with the story it could have. :rolleyes:

nope, I don't think they air that over there anymore. I think it's from the 1980's, but I may be wrong.
