yep yep...indeedy! Urdu sorta is a mix of Hindi and Farsi/Arabic. And so I guess it's kinda Semitic... not to mention that Hindi itself comes from Sanskrit and Sanskrit is like the mother of all Indo-European languages! :cool:

Yaum and i guess now i know what they mean by Yaum i jashn-e-azadi (day of freedom celebration...)
