Religion is a distressed archaic institution. Its propose has been crushed by demoralization and preoccupation with arbitrary regulation. I don't have a problem with people who are religious, but I do have a problem when they push it on me and judge those who have chosen a different set of beliefs. Many religious people use the religion to ratify themselves, make themselves feel valuable or superior, and to fixate power over others. Whereas there is no way to prove God exists (God being the furry-faced aged man lounging on cloud nine), no religion is better than another, but they seem to think they are. It causes so much war, conflict and death. Any "God" of mine, benevolent as He or She is, wouldn't let that happen. Therefore, the "lol," bringing attention to the irony and childish fabrication that is religion. I'm tired of people getting fucked over by religion and religious institutions. While I agree that religion's core purpose is good (to provide a framework to make someone a good person), the side-effects' negations far outweigh these advantages. If one needs this framework to be a good person, that's fine, but I don't. And most adults I'd like to think have some semblance of a conscience to know what's good and bad. I don't need to worry about "God" punishing me if I steal shit. I just won't steal shit. Problem solved. And if you want answers, look forward, not backward. Science, bro. Therefore, Religion lol
