  1. ^Yeah, I bought the running man shirt at Lolla. There's no dates, it's just a list of cities.
  2. I still think we'll have it by the end of the week.
  3. It's okay. I just think U2 is the basic stereotype for rock music. Yawn. And yeah, Muse's stuff is like a Queen clone. When I heard US of E, I was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME? But their fans are vicious, vicious people.
  4. My current jam is the new Wilco album :dazzled:
  5. I hate Ode to Deoderant. It's basically the worst thing ever. BUT YA ITS A HIDDEN TRACK RIGHT AFTER WEDDING BELLS.
  6. I'm not a big U2 fan. I like War, Zooropa and The Joshua Tree. Not a big Muse fan, either. I just put them above U2 because I like Queen.
  7. I was a journalism student once. Then I figured out I wanted a job. So I sold out. The journalism school here is the best in the world, though! Let me know if you ever have any questions about Mizzou. It's an awesome school.
  8. YUP! I'm in the student center right now! That's awesome!
  9. I ordered one from Amazon and going to Best Buy in the morning to pick one up. I need one for personal use and one for my collection :P Plus the pop up God I'm a schmuck :uhoh:
  10. Haters gonna hate. Go study for your damn PSAT. You make me feel old. I'm doing med school apps. EDIT: You just did two posts in a row.
  11. The best thing that's come out of U2 in the past 10 years is that cool-colored black-and-red iPod. Anyway, if I were to rate the quality of the bands above... Coldplay > Radiohead > Muse > U2 But their Mainstream-ness? U2 > Coldplay > Muse > Radiohead (though they are ALL mainstream)
  12. USHER?! *shivers* Well, "Yeah" was alright :P
  13. By definition, yes. But they clearly have sold out since pre-Pablo Honey :P
  14. That's sooo 10 minutes ago. Get with the times.
  15. No. Coldplay aren't mainstream. You probably haven't even heard of them.
  16. I doubt it. Coldplay.com is quite unreliable with timely shipments. I'd cancel and order through Amazon instead (though with Amazon you don't get a free download). But you'd get your physical copy on release day. Pick your poison.
  17. She's fine. When I call her she acts like she's busy, but I know she's just watching Law and Order reruns. I'll see her for Thanksgiving. :P
  18. I like making people think they're assholes.
  19. I'm not singling you out. I'm just saying that Radiohead are incredibly popular and successful, much to the dismay of their diehard fans. Everyone wants them to themselves, and they're at the point where if they recorded Thom taking a shit and released it people would call it stunning. Most everyone I know is familiar with Radiohead's work (even some dumb sorority girl has "Reckoner" on her iPod, misspelled with no album art). And Coldplay is wayyyy more mainstream, admittedly (I voted U2 though, just because no-one seems to hate U2 like people hate Coldplay). But when people call Radiohead "indie music" it's just stupid.
  20. I'm giving you crap. My mom is alive, though i haven't called her for a couple weeks.
