Yes! That would be awesome. Have you ever farted audibly in a public place? Haha
  6. I appreciate GaGa. I don't really care for a lot of her stuff, but I admire that she writes her own songs, it's bold and it's composed well. Her new album didn't flow very well. To me it sounds like the LP only cares about singles...not a track listing. But I can see why they gave it a good score. But anyway, back to relevance, I think RS reviews are usually okay. I appreciate that theyre more critical than other magazines are, but that the criticism is meaningful and not just a matter-of-fact opinion (a la Pitchfork). PoC can't be judged well by us yet because we don't have an HD version of it at all but I think it sounds awesome!

I think UFO will be a thing. Time will tell.
  8. Band name: Tera Term First album: Georgios Kartalis First single: Hypopachus
  9. ETIAW is alright. I just hate when happy people are happy. :blank:
  10. Critics are actually not panning ETIAW. They seem to like it. Coldplay fans are just more stubborn because it was such a turn from their previous stuff that we know and love. I don't think they're comparing it to older Coldplay; They are just reviewing it as an autonomous piece instead of comparatively.
  11. 3.5 stars. :freak: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/songreviews/every-teardrop-is-a-waterfall-20110603
  12. Well if I recall, they gave pretty solid accolades to Major Minus, MTM and ETIAW. So I don't think that's the problem.
  13. What was interesting to me is that they liked Charlie Brown, just not Chris' delivery of the song. Soooo..... Why does that knock it down to just 2.5 stars? Durp.
  14. ^True that.... :blank:
  15. Haha I laughed at that part too! He's awesome.
  16. Like I said, they're pretty harsh usually.
  17. Hello, everyone! So I subscribe to Rolling Stone and in a small section of the new issue (Sept. 1, 2011) they talked about Coldplay's new, "weirder" sound. And they assigned star ratings to each song, including PoC. Hurts Like Heaven: 3.5 stars Charlie Brown: 2.5 stars Us Against the World: 3.5 stars Princess of China: 3 stars Rolling Stone is usually pretty harsh in their reviews, so I'm pretty pleased with those scores myself. :) Anyway, I just thought I'd share, since it's not online. The scan is below.

  19. Swim out on a sea of faces, The tide of the human races, An answer now is what I need. See it in a new sun rising See it break on your horizon Oh, come on love, stay with me... (best part of X&Y)
  20. I hope they just add it in like they did in Lolla with "Everything's not Lost" But they'll definitely play it. It's their new single and it would be stupid not to promote it! (I cannot wait to hear it!) :awesome:

  22. ^ Don't worry about it! Getting used to stuff like that is complicated.
  23. You have to upload it to a website. When I make stuff, I use flickr. Right click the image, select "copy link" and go to this thread. Click the yellow picture square, and paste the link into there. Welcome, by the way :)
  24. I want a pen pal!
