  1. The best pro photos taken so far that I've seen, thanks for finding them!
  2. I really love how they've started performing the song in a slightly different way, and I agree, it gets better every time!
  3. Anyone know which section/area they have been performing Us Against The World?
  4. This doesn't exactly relate, but maybe some of you folks that went to the Edmonton show 3 years would be interested in this recording :)
  5. I confirm that it says UV Balloons on the setlist. :O
  6. One-two punch of DLIBYH and VLV, looking forward to seeing that!
  7. LOL, can anyone confirm Chris had to burp during GPASUYF?
  8. Ooh, Warning Sign! Would love for that to stay on the setlist.
  9. I think maybe 22-24 songs, definitely longer than the European tour in December. Predicting more use of the wristbands, especially if they perform DLIBYH and UWTB. I hope that doesn't diminish their effect though.. not sure whether I would like that or not.
  10. Without knowing it, probably Clocks. From my memory, Speed of Sound.
  11. Simple Plan! Pleasant surprise, I didn't know they were nominated.
  12. This female presenter sounds like Ms. Piggy... lol :D
  13. He's said he's never labelled himself, but if you need a term for him, "call me bisexual"
  14. Happy New Year :)
  15. (cont. from above) July 15 You really have to appreciate their tenacity and hard-working spirit eh? Early in the morning on July 15th, Chris Martin sent out a tweet implying that he (and the band?) was still up listening and reviewing something, and it doesn’t take much guessing to conclude he was probably referring to their yet unnamed new album. As member Fix42YellowClocks puts it, “They should be called "The Fantastic Four", except the real deal in real life!” July 18 As the month continued on, speculation on whether their big gig at the iTunes festival in London would include any setlist changes. When asked by a fan, the Oracle would only reveal that changes were to be expected, but what exactly would they be? July 19 Coldplay’s long awaited 5th album finally had a tentative release date! It was reported by The Sun (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/3702355/Solo-Noel-Gallagher-battles-Coldplay.html) and a few other sources that the album was set to be released on October 24, 2011. Looking ahead, did that ever seem like a long wait! July 22 iTunes Festival, London, UK When the time finally came for Coldplay to unleash their live spectacle across the world as part of the 2011 iTunes Festival, would fans finally get to see a setlist change? Streaming live across 23 countries, the band decided, as the one major change, to perform for the very first time (and currently only time) Moving to Mars, a fan favourite released on the ETIAW EP back in June. (As I write this, I am reminded of the beauty of the opening to this track :D No wait, that should say the WHOLE track.) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzBtFa3WB0o]Coldplay Moving To Mars (Live At iTunes Festival) - YouTube[/ame] Cool moment during Every Teardrop: "Y U NO SING ALONG, AUDIENCE?!" It was such a memorable gig, folks had the Viva chant going in their heads, even after the show: Also, more photos courtesy Laura84: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150327469520941.388214.522830940&l=f1134fdd3a&type=1 July 24 Coldplayers jumped all over the news that a new name, Mylo Xyloto, had been registered in the PRS database earlier on in July. What was this mysterious name? A new song? The album’s title?? July 26 The September 2011 issue of Q Magazine featured an article on the boys from Coldplay, titled 'Laughing Boys'. It gave us more little tidbits of information on the new album, including the confirmation of a number of tracks which were to appear on the album (albeit, subject to last minute changes). Transcript here July 29 Fuji Rock Festival, Naeba Ski Resort, Japan [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGsD4qDPAWY]Coldplay - Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (Live at Fuji Rock Festival '11) - YouTube[/ame] July 31 Splendour in the Grass Festival, Queensland, Australia Other happenings: Coldplay's 'Every Teardrop is A Waterfall' bundle sold out completely (any surprises there? :smug:) The inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival headliners were announced, featuring the one and only Coldplay. Tickets sold out in a blink of an eye. :o Rumours, rumours, read all about it! Was Coldplay scheduled to perform in France in December, and possibly more dates elsewhere? Roadie #42 blogs from the road, a long two weeks in front of them! (Blog #138)
  16. This just obliterated my review :D Great job! I think I should add more photos.
  17. Chris' singing? Not perfect when compared to the studio version, of course. Are you referring to the chorus? Everywhere else seems pretty decent to me. In reply to the OP, I'd love to see DLIBYH added to the setlist next year! Anything that they don't often play (anymore) is a plus :)
