  1. I listened to your mp3 and I can only hear "cover". I've listened to almost all the versions out there and I've never heard "colour". I am 99.98% sure he sings "cover" and it makes a whole lot more sense than "colour".
  2. I would just add some more boldage: Written in graffiti on a bridge in a park 'Do you ever get the feeling that you're missing the mark?' It's so cold, it's so cold It's so cold, it's so cold Written up in marker on a factory sign 'I struggle with the feeling that my life isn't mine' It's so cold, it's so cold It's so cold, it's so cold I see the arrow they shot, trying to tear us apart Fire from my belly and the beat from my heart Still I won't let go Still I won't let go Of you ooooh 'Cause you do Oh you, use your heart as a weapon And it hurts like heaven On every street, every car, every surface are names And at the streets arise, we'll be writting and saying 'Don't let them take control' No we won't let them take control Yes I feel a little bit nervous Yes I feel nervous and I cannot relax How come they're out to get us? How come they're out when they don't know the facts So on a concrete canvas under cover of dark Concrete canvas I go making my mark Armed with the spray can soul I'll be armed with the spray can soul You Ooohooh Oh you Ooohooh 'Cause you use your heart as a weapon And it hurts like heaven Woho-ooh Woho-oooh It's true When you use your heart as a weapon It hurts like heaven
  3. Wow, it took me a while before I understood what this was. I kept searching for the lyrics, though maybe the audio was off from the video. Nice cover, but why did you post in the lyrics thread? :P
  4. Coldplay in Q Magazine about LP5 Just found out that there is an article about Coldplay and the LP5 in the September issue of Q Magazine (that is apparently out now). I don't have access to it so it would be great if someone could post a transcript or a scan of the article. Thanks!
  5. I think it has a lot to do with which one you heard first. I heard "Charlie Brown" first and I wouldn't like it to be called "Cartoon Heart" now.
  6. The "the same/to say" part is really difficult to make out, but now I got hung up on something else: it doesn't sound like he sings "are rising". It sounds like it's either "arise" or maybe oven "at the streets are us". What do you think? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BKSHYZhD4Q]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BKSHYZhD4Q[/ame]
  7. Here is the full version: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xwb_AIX79vo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xwb_AIX79vo[/ame] Enjoy!

  9. I think it was after GPASUYF. Here it is if you missed it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXTsJZOvAAM]Coldplay - Moving To Mars - Live @ iTunes Festival 2011 (HD)[/ame]
  10. Moving To Mars [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXTsJZOvAAM]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXTsJZOvAAM[/ame] Enjoy!
  11. I listened for that part very carefully and I really thought he sang "writing to say".
  12. I love the way Chris pronounces the word "relax" (at about 1:30) in this video: [ame= ] [/ame] Does anyone have the time and skills to edit out just that word? Maybe even remove the background music if it's possible? It would make a nice sms tone :P Of if anyone knows Chris and can record him saying that :D Is there anybody out there? I can't hear you, I can't hear you
  13. In my video, I think he sings either "the same" or "saying": [ame= ] [/ame]
  14. I'm secretly hoping that will be in the studio version :P
  15. I thought we agreed that it was This is what I hear and it's the only one that makes sense.
  16. It's hard to hear what he's singing, but wouldn't it make more sense if it was a "bench in a park" rather than a "bridge in a park"?
  17. Two batteries (or about one and two thirds) and a 16GB memory that got filled right in the middle of ETIAW
  18. Thanks! Believe me, I tried :P I do like the feeling of being in the crowd though, that's something you don't get from TV broadcasts.
  19. In this video you can hear the V and you can even see him say V if you watch his mouth. [ame= ] [/ame]
  20. I'm pretty sure the last word is "saying" from most videos I've seen since you can usually hear the "ying" part quite clearly. However, from your video I get something with "riding" as in "the streets are rising and we're riding and saying".
  21. I'm almost certain he sings "in the cover of dark" and that makes the most sense.
  22. This is what I get from this video: [ame= ] [/ame] Written in graffiti on a bridge in a park 'Do you ever get the feeling that you're missing the mark?' So cold, so cold So cold, so cold Written up in marker on a factory sign 'I struggle with the feeling that my life isn't mine' So cold, so cold So cold, so cold See the arrow that they shot, trying to tear us apart Fire from my belly and the beat from my heart Still I won't let go Still I won't let go You Ooohooh Oh you, use your heart as a weapon And it hurts like heaven Every street, every car with a surface of saints And the streets are rising and you're having me saying 'Don't let them take control No, we won't let them take control' Yes, I feel a little bit nervous, Yes, I'm feeling nervous and I cannot relax, How come they're out to get us? How come they're out when they don't know the facts? So on concrete canvas in the cover of dark Concrete canvas, I'll go making my mark Armed with a spray can soul Coming now with the spray can soul You Ooohooh Oh, you Ooohooh Yes, you You use your heart as a weapon And it hurts like heaven Woho-ooh Woho-oooh It's true When you Use your heart as a weapon It hurts like heaven
