You're right it can be a delay. But I don't think so in Oli's case. He has had lots of help from teachers and others, he goes to a good school, and he IS getting better, particularly in reading, but he finds it hard to write for any periods of time. But as you can see drawing is his forte. :D

Thanks girls, I'll pass on your compiments.. and yes he is really talented.. he has dyslexia, so finds it hard to read and write, but loves drawing and is rarely found without a pencil.. and lots of paper.. :)

I thought some of you might like to see what my son is doing for his GCSE artwork project. It's not finished yet, he is obviously going to colour it, and add stuff.. but I'm very impressed. He's 13. The topic is 'stars' so he immediately thought of Yellow.. (well who wouldn't? LOL!).. I hope you like it. All drawn freehand. Oh and he says I can show you all.. I wouldn't do it otherwise. :D
