Charlie Brown/ Spanish Rain
Don't feel bad, it made me look into the song (I know the name, but really I couldn't put name to tune) and remember how awesome it is.

pre- MX era song setlist
I just googled the URL, didn't particularly look for it. I went to their 360 tour in Sydney last year, was pretty good. Yeah The Cry version I favor as well.

A crazy man can say this time is different as much as he wants, doesn't mean the world he once thought existed has returned.

The Big Ol' Fake Leak Thread; Mop Required
We're no strangers to love You know the rules and so do I A full commitment's what I'm thinking of You wouldn't get this from any other guy I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you understand Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you We've known each other for so long Your heart's been aching but You're too shy to say it Inside we both know what's been going on We know the game and we're gonna play it And if you ask me how I'm feeling Don't tell me you're too blind to see Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you

pre- MX era song setlist
Well I just looked at what the set list was (http://www.u2tours.com/detail.src?ID=20110624) seemed to consist of heaps of their old stuff. Personally I think they should play stuff which featured on their older albums. The Electric Co., Gloria, New Year's Day (does that really feature much at concerts?) etc. Some stuff from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medium,_Rare_%26_Remastered would be good too. Oh and Pride.

B Side of Stuck in a moment. I think we destroyed this thread by turning it from Coldplay to U2.

I feel Magnificent might over take Vertigo as they make more albums.

pre- MX era song setlist
Well the 360 tour was about No Line on the Horizon enititally then it became basically a general tour. And besides, Vertigo is the "they can't not play it" song.

pre- MX era song setlist
Well there seems to be a considerable amount of hype for Up with the Birds, so maybe the band will harvest that? Also with Up in Flames been a very basic song, they could try and use another song from MX which has more oonf.

Charlie Brown/ Spanish Rain
I don't really see many simlaties. Lyric wise the songs are structured complelty different and music wise it doesn't really feel as Charlie Brown- though I probably would only say a few notes are shared.

pre- MX era song setlist
For those saying Up in Flames in the set list for MX era, I doubt we would see it in the set list. I think something like Up with the Birds or Princess of China. Would take its place.

Will You Listen On The 19th?
I don't like their music. Simple as that, it isn't some amazing mystery as why I don't like them. It's cut and dry and wasn't worth mentioning.

Will You Listen On The 19th?
While we are on about bands we like along side Coldplay I am a U2/Coldplay fan. Personally I hate Radiohead.

Will Mylo Xyloto leak? ** EFFECTIVE 16-10 LINKS NOT PERMITTED ** (PART I)
Yeah I'd be really suprised if it came out this week. Next week is pretty much when we should see it leaked, however late next week. However 10/10 would be cool. :P

pre- MX era song setlist
Oh yes forgot about Cemeteries Of London. In fact really any from the Viva era would work great with a MX set list.

pre- MX era song setlist
Replace The Scientist with Swallowed in the Sea. Maybe bring in High Speed as one of the songs after the Encore. I am also seriously sick of Poltik, so replace that with something maybe The Hardest Part or Low. Accuarly I think Don't Panic could also work in a MX style setlist, however the problem is the song is more about accepting what we have and it is more beautiful than we often give it granted for, so with MX been about distruction- maybe not. I agree with the idea of brining in Lovers in Japan and Death and all his friends. Warning Sign would be a good inclusion. Some tracks from Prospekt's March like Rainy Day would be good too.

Red is angry. However the happy color is Yellow- so insert a coldplay pun here.

Who else is sick of the stereotypes surrounding their home state/nation/whatever?
I like how the most complaints are from Americans- which is a sterotype in itself. As for Australian ones, we don't really have any. Well we do- but their more fun and can be taken with a laugh.

[1-Oct-2011] Coldplay @ Rock in Rio Festival, Rio, Brazil
Coldplay needs to come to Australia for something more then Splendor in the Grass, I bet if they came here we could get the crowd going as much as Rio.
