  1. I have an extra ticket that I'm looking to sell. One of my friends in the group still wants to go to NY but wants to do something other than the concert. PM me if you're interested!
  2. At least you started on yours! And you never know, you just might get upgraded. It would be nice to get upgraded again but I don't want to get my hopes up too much. I have the shirt and figured out what I wanted to put on it. Now I just need to find my inner creative side lol. I should have mine done hopefully by the middle of this week.
  3. Only a week left! It still hasn't sunk all the way in yet that I'll be seeing Coldplay one more time this year!
  4. We may forget this at times but the guys in Coldplay are only human. Personal life issues or family should always come first!
  5. Thank goodness! Ill have to read up on it. Don't wanna take away from the meaning of this thread
  6. Not sure if you all heard but Coldplay plans on taking a 3 year break after these final few shows :( makes this concert that much more meaningful!
  7. First thing you should do is MAKE shirts or posters for the concert. Try to make it unique so that it may catch their eye. Once you do that, get to the venue early and walk around the halls as much as possible! If you're really determined, I'd even keep walking around while the opening band is playing. Roadies won't be dressed like the event staff, they're usually wearing dark clothes and my may even spot a backstage MX pass on them somewhere. Most roadies walk around in the nose bleed sections to try to find people to upgrade. Lastly, if you see a roadie upgrading someone, I wouldn't recommend to go up to the roadie afterwards to ask for tickets. Just let them confront you! Hope those tips help!
  8. Sometimes Coldplay reserves the first 1-3 or so rows so that roadies can give those front row seats away to real fans. Happened to me when I saw them in dc!
  9. Any of you guys planning on making shirts for the concert? I want to go all out on my attire but I'm currently in the brainstorming stage lol.
  10. Really? They're behind the stage tickets in sections 29, 1 and 3 though. Hopefully it won't come to that!
  11. Just reserved the hotel room for my 4 friends making the trip up to Brooklyn with me. A total of over 800 dollars spent on hotel and tickets just to see Coldplay again! My friends BETTER pay me back lol.
  12. When I went to their tour earlier this year I was sitting in the front, but I can tell you what I saw! So the people in the back have a pretty good view. Even though they're not facing you, you're still not that far from them. At certain parts of songs Chris, Jonny or Guy will make a walk around the back to show they haven't forgotten about you! Can't say I'd settle for behind the stage tickets for my first concert but since I've seen them a few times I'm just happy to be in the building!
  13. Nice to see so many D.C Coldplay concert goers also attending the NY concert!!! Night one I was section 1 and night 2 I was section 3. This time around I on the lower level behind the stage (cheap seats) but hopefully I can still get upgraded :p Thx for the bus info, I think it'll be between Bolt Bus and Mega Bus. Since hotels will probably cost an arm and a leg, I think my friends and I are considering taking a train home around 3am on the 31st back to D.C. We'll see though. I'm totally down for a Coldplayer meetup! (even though I may miss out on a 31st meet up)
  14. I did too! Two of the best nights of my life! I've never seen CP outside of D.C, so traveling to N.Y will be a different kind of experience. If you go, do you think you'll take a car, bus or train?
  15. Yup! I felt so left out last time around when they did pre ordering with Amex! I just had to type in the first 6 numbers of my Citi Card. I went with the cheap seats $79ish bucks right behind the stage. Last time I saw them in D.C, my friend and I got upgraded to the front row. Not expecting anything like that this time around but It'll be awesome to be in the same room as Coldplay again! :D
  16. Just bought my tickets for the 30th show! Now I just gotta figure out transportation and a hotel!
  17. Arg, I'm trying to figure out which show I should buy tickets for. I'd love to do both but I don't think my job will allow it. I'm leaning towards the 30th because it's a Coldplay only show. I'm not a huge Jay Z fan, so going on the 31st means seeing less of Coldplay on stage. But then again, I like the 31st because it would be AMAZING to close out a year with Coldplay!!
  18. Hard to say. Chris sometimes curses at times in live shows.
  19. Depending on if my job lets me go, hopefully I'll be able to catch the Dec 30th show! I'd stay for both NY shows if I could..but I'd be happy to just see them at least once if I could! (Keeping fingers crossed!!!)
  20. I'm sorry to hear that :( I've been looking forward to this concert ever since they announced their dates and would of been crushed if they had to cancel last minute for this "big deal" of a storm. Not that it's not a serious storm, but it wont hit all areas as bad as others. Maybe Wolf Gang will be able to come back soon!
