  1. I wish I could redo the past 40 mins using the app instead of using the website.
  2. I tried Citi and standard best available and no luck. Still trying even though chances are slim. I called ticket master over the phone 10 mins ago and he said they're all sold out but I'll be stubborn and keep trying.
  3. Same here, no luck under Citi or regular so far for me. I started at 10am on the dot too. Keeping fingers crossed just to get in the building.
  4. Extremely pumped for the ticket sale tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed that I can pick one up. Of course I'd love to be as close as possible, but at this point I'd be happy with just getting in the building since it'll be a fairly small venue compared to the arena shows I've gone to in the past. I'll be up bright and early at 9:30-45 waiting at my MacBook ready to spend money haha. Good luck everyone!

I wasn't the biggest fan of MX when it came out, but it slowly grew on me. But then I ended up seeing them live 3 times during the MX tour, and it was AMAZING! I've been to concerts in the X&Y and VLV era too, and this was by far my favorite era to see them live in out of the 3. To be honest, I'm not sure how they're gonna surpass the live performance they were able to put out for MX. Anywho, Parachutes is still my favorite album since that's the one that introduced me to Coldplay. AROBTTH is a very close second :)
  6. The cover that I'm playing to is from IvyandGoldMusic on YouTube. Enjoy!
  7. Sorry for such the late response! I didn't end up going to the NJ shows. The plans for the trip kind of fell through. Same for when I planned to see them in Boston. However, I just saw them Dec 30th at the Barclays center. It was freezing outside but I figured I'd just walk to the back of the center just to see if they'd be back there. Of course one of the guys who worked there said they left right after the concert. Not sure if he was being honest, but there was no way I could wait outside for much longer in that cold weather lol. Next tour ill try again. I may even head out on their last song a little early to stand by the gate.. Maybe that'll help.
  8. I've been to 3 Coldplay tours so far: X&Y, Viva and MX. My seats were pretty bad for the X&Y concert. While still having nose bleeds for the Viva concert, we were much closer to the stage this time around. And as for the MX concert, I saw it three different times! Two out of the three times I was in either the first or second row. The other time I was on the floor behind the X stage. The MX tour by far IMO was the best live. I defiantly don't think MX is their best album, but the tour was amazing. The fact that all their shows had xylobands was impressive. They really added something to the show. Song like In my place with all the confetti was also a high point. And on top of that, having AMAZING seats I think tops it a off. This was the first tour I made my own shirts for to wear during concerts. They did a great job of making this tour bring out people's creative sides.
  9. It's a bit of both. I think ever since viva/MX era they've gained a lot of younger teen fans. Back at my first MX concert I July when I got upgraded to the front row, two girls kept asking the names of half the songs. I didn't mind telling them, but it just shows that a lot of their new fans don't know much of Coldplay beyond viva and MX eras.
  10. Parachutes wins them all for me. Besides it being my first album I got, it has such a calm vibe to it that's perfect to listening to when it's raining outside!
  11. Rush of blood wins all of them for me as well. MX isn't bad but AROBTTH is probably my favorite album, and then Parachutes after that. With that said, I think the MX tour was the best live performance from the 3 yours I've been to (X&Y Viva and MX)
  12. I had this dream back in July but I still remember it. So a few weeks before my first MX concert but 3rd overall concert, I had a dream I was at a Coldplay concert... But I had AMAZING SEATS! Front row, much closer than I'd ever been. I think I even got to meet Coldplay in my dream lol. Little did I k ow that in real life I would be upgraded to the front row! Talking about dreams coming true! I still am working on meeting them one day though.
  13. Here's a picture that Coldplay tweeted not too long ago!
  14. If Coldplay is last to be shown on NBC it means theres a better chance of it being live. Maybe they'll end the broadcast with Coldplay live at Barclays Center...I can dream at least.. haha
  15. Another text update. They're currently in an intermission with a DJ playing now.
  16. Just got a text from a buddy at the concert. Lost is now playing!
  17. Can't wait to see pictures from the show. Wish I could be there for this one too!
  18. Hey guys, Boy, was last night AWESOME! It was my 5th time seeing Coldplay live, and my first time seeing Coldplay outside of Washington D.C. My friends that I came to New York with wanted to eat before the concert, so I decided to head inside the Barclays Center by myself just to wonder around. It was amazing seeing so many people dressed up with their own Mylo Xyloto gear. Compared to the two summer MX shows I saw in D.C, it seemed like there were more "hard core" fans there last night in Brooklyn. I'm sure many of the people I saw were fellow Coldplayers too!. The Barclays Center staff were incredibly nice to me! I got many nice complements on my shirt from them, and they were very helpful whenever I got lost. After wondering around for a bit, I ended up crossing paths with fellow Coldplayers Billy and John! We were all also lucky enough to get upgraded to the 2nd row!!!! The roadie who upgraded us was very kind. I'd like to think that we gave her a laugh. Basically, we had to serenade a random couple she pointed out with Coldplay music. My shirt had an equalizer on it, so we had to be as loud as we could so that the shirt would light up to it's max! Getting the chance to see your favorite band up close never gets old! Once we got in our seats, I got to meet Zoey and her family and friends too. They were some very cool people :D. I was lucky to be in such great company. Moving on to the concert.. Naturally 7 was great. I wasn't sure what to expect from them, but I can't say I've seen something like that before. They were the only act to come on before Coldplay..too bad Wolf Gang didn't tag along to play a few songs ;) Once Coldplay took the stage, all my memories from earlier MX tours this year came back! Like I said before, it was my first time seeing Coldplay live outside of D.C. Something felt different about them, in a good way. I felt like the crowd on the floor was really into the concert. Everyone was singing along to all the songs! Chris acknowledged Billy's Christmas Lights poster and Jonny once again acknowledged me during the concert! I can't say he remembers me from previous concerts but its definitely an amazing feeling when a member from Coldplay notices you. I couldn't imagine a better way to end the 2012 year. I also must give thanks to my friends and family. They helped me with making my shirt and making the trip possible in the first place. I've checked off a lot of things on my to do list with Coldplay. The remaining things are to see Coldplay in a different country and to actually MEET THEM! Not sure when it'll happen, but hopefully one day!
  19. Just got picked up by my friends and now we're heading to NEW YORK!!! Hopefully I see some of you guys there!
  20. Here's my shirt! Not as cool as everyone else's but it'll do! Must say thanks to my friends and sister for helping me get it done! [/img]
