  1. Who's Nylocke? I finished my Geometry homework, but I don't have much time on here, since I have to start on two projects and work on my Algebra II course. But I feel your pain.
  2. :blank: -is doing my online Algebra II course, can't watch right now- Sorry. :P
  3. I WILL CARE FOR THIS ONE MOMENT
  4. Night, Emma! :nice: I actually have to go too, so...bye, lurkers! :escaping:
  5. I have no idea. Snow Patrol will be my first non-Classical-music concert if I get tickets (hooray for it being before the Coldplay concert), and it seems like that's standing GA. I'm not sure about Foster, although all of the Coldplay tickets are for seating in D.C (it's not like anyone is actually going to sit, though.)
  6. And the 14th is exactly one week after my last day of middle school, so it would be a nice treat to go and see them. :nice: Even if it does rain, the 4,000 seats closest to the stage are covered by a roof, so I won't get soaked. Basically, if I can get good seats, I'll go, but if I can't, I won't be too mad. :P
  7. I'm not a Dr. Who fan, either. I hardly even watch TV. xD Sounds interesting. :nice: I'm not really a blues/soul/jazz fan, but I hope you have a good time! Foster the People are only around $40-50 too, so I definitely have the money to go. The thing is, the Mann Center is actually outside. This isn't too much of a problem, considering that the concert is in June, but I'm a little worried...:\ They're pretty good, though, so I might go to that concert.
  8. About half of my class, or 20 people (so-called "fast math") ,switched from Geometry back to Algebra I at the beginning of this year. Why are there few girls good at math? D: Better than Glastonbury? I'm impressed! :charming: Nearly the same thing happened with Coldplay, too; they went to Philly THREE TIMES on the Viva tour, and I missed becoming a huge fan until just this last year, although I loved them since VLVODAAHF. Then again, I was only eleven at the time, so that might've not worked very well. I need a TARDIS. :P What genre of music does Michael Kiwanuka fall under? If he's up and coming, I've definitely never heard of him before. *looks at Ticketmaster* Holy...Foster the People are coming to Philly? :stunned:
  9. I absolutely love math. I can understand why some people who aren't very visual could have problems with Geometry, but Algebra isn't that difficult at all (and my non-mathematically-talented friend agrees). Nearly half of the kids in my grade/age level are taking Pre-Algebra, though. I have no idea how to do those last two, though. :P Coldplay always seem to be the most expensive, which isn't too surprising, considering their popularity. But honestly, charging $60 for a nosebleed ticket is pretty ridiculous. Wow, Elbow was supporting? I know they're pretty popular (and yes, they are on my giant list of bands), so that sounds like a pretty good deal. I have no idea who the support act is supposed to be for Coldplay when they come around to the States in the summer. I love Mumford and Sons. :wacky: (looks like they've been to Philly before, so they'll probably come again) I know Keane has visited Philly before - they played a new song, in fact (why did I have to become a fan two months after that concert? :bigcry:) - so they'll probably come after their new album is released at some point this year. If I'm not mistaken, though, Arcade Fire has never even been to Philly. : (
  10. I can't wait for the U.S. tour! :D
  11. Trapezoids are cool.
  12. To be honest, that doesn't look all that difficult. If I actually knew how to do it, then I could probably work it out easily. /says the math geek That's still not too bad for tickets, though, with their popularity in Ireland and all. I mean, my Coldplay tickets for D.C. that I had to buy from a ticket reseller (-_-) were $225 each. So $60 isn't that bad for GA tickets. Conveniently, they decided to stop by Philadelphia during my spring break. :P If they had had their concert any other week in April, I wouldn't have been able to go (it's on a Tuesday). All I need now is for Keane and Arcade Fire to come to Philly. Then I will have seen my four favorite bands. (well, technically, the only four bands I currently listen to. My huge list of bands is nowhere near being completely listened to.)
  13. I'm very good. I had really easy geometry homework, and I'm working on my online Algebra II course now. Of course, it has to start with Absolute Value, which I've known for almost exactly two years. :P Slow start, but I'll get to information I don't know already at some point. Oh, and Snow Patrol announced their U.S. tour, and each ticket is only $40. :awesome:
  14. There's exactly one police officer in my school, and I'm not exactly sure what he does. :P Seriously, though, the situation in Texas seems pretty ridiculous. The random arrests could end up traumatizing the younger kids and the ones with mental disabilities - which I certainly don't want.
  15. The only thing that annoys me is that now I can't say my first concert was Coldplay any more. :P Crap. IT'S ON TUESDAY. :blank: *looks at school schedule* ..and it happens during Spring Break. Never mind.
  16. *looks at Snow Patrol's website* Wait, Snow Patrol's going on tour? :awesome: $40 tickets and GA. ...and hi, Tyler. :nice:
  17. EDIT: never mind.
  18. You didn't. That's the point. :blank: *notices bad pun*
  19. I actually dyed part of my hair dark blue during the summer (just a strand). Unfortunately, my hair is dark enough that the blue just looked like a darker shade of brown. :blank: My hair's brown as well.
