  1. Hello everyone! Frequent visitor, a bit more infrequent poster here on the boards. Anyways, I work at a non-profit in the United States, and we are currently circulating a petition to push the United States to support a stricter version of the Arms Trade Treaty, so that the global weapons trade becomes more tightly regulated. For those who are unfamiliar with the Arms Trade Treaty, here's a brief blurb from our website: Every year, 12 billion bullets are produced worldwide, enough to kill nearly everyone on the planet twice. Yet, bananas have stricter international trade regulations than weapons and ammunition. That's bananas! But in July, world leaders are coming together to negotiate the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) to halt the spread of unregulated weapons worldwide Obviously, I'm sure that there are quite a few people reading this who aren't from the United States, but regardless, US support for this treaty will be critical to getting something substantial passed, and we could really use support from people around the world. If you could take the time to sign this petition at the following link, I would really appreciate it. http://org2.democracyinaction.org/o/5550/p/dia/action/public/?action_KEY=11049&tag=attsam Thanks again!
  2. Parachutes actually has been played a few times live. Haven't seen it pop up at all on the MX Tour, but they did bring it out during the Latin American portion of the Viva Tour. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UetaHNKJnXc]Coldplay- Parachutes- Yellow 1/2 Guadalajara - YouTube[/ame]
  3. 1. Up With The Birds 2. Charlie Brown 3. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall
  4. I'll be in DC over the summer, and would love to see Coldplay while I'm here. How much do tickets usually go for?

I thought it was "so we saw an innocent riot."
  6. I probably haven't listened to MX quite enough for this to be a fully settled list, but right now I'd have to go with: Parachutes Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends Mylo Xyloto A Rush of Blood to the Head X&Y
  7. In the live version, the "Light a fire" bit definitely comes across a bit stronger. But, the studio version's "All the boys, all the girls" section more than makes up for it, in my opinion.
  8. Bigger Stronger Ask me so sweetly
  9. Charlie Brown, although Up With the Birds give it a run for its money.
  10. Charlie Brown and Princess of China will almost certainly be the 3rd and 4th singles. If they release a 5th, I'm thinking (and hoping) that they go with Hurts Like Heaven.
  11. I honestly am kind of doubting that HLH will be released as a single. I would imagine that CB and POC are probably a bit more commercially viable. Nonetheless, if they do release it as a single, I can't see how they wouldn't combine the tracks. It definitely would be a bit abrupt to cut right into HLH.
  12. A few for me: The "Light a fire, light a spark" bit in Charlie Brown Charlie Brown's piano outro "Can we pour some water on?" in Up in Flames Transition from MMIX to Every Teardrop The guitars entering in the second part of Up with the Birds
