  1. pretty sure this is chris. same hand writing, same doodling and same recording studio. that's the notepad with henson cut off from the timeline update too. adam and bono must be an inside joke.
  2. ^ i'm thicker than you. i didn't realize it until i read your post.
  3. ^ hahaa! and the "the first romantic ballad about incest in coldplay's career"
  4. yeah, both this and the GoT musical were better than most of GS for me. not to say there were songs in GS that I really loved. this is great in terms of lp7 i think. the band is having fun, doing awesome things while having fun. good mojo to continue on for lp7 i say.
  5. btw, batman is right. there are sheets covering the walls all over the US studio. probably all the lp7 related work. but surprisingly nothing much seems to be going on in the bakery and the beehive. maybe they cleared them out. wish we could have gotten even a glimpse of a title, lyric, doodle, or something though..
  6. did anyone catch will subtly calling chris "idiot" at the very beginning?
  7. this is just precious! [video=youtube;vAiRvXnL6jE]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAiRvXnL6jE
  8. ah.. i'm keeping a lid on my cynical side :) anyway, how awesome was that skit?? that was fantastic!
  9. it looks like it's been edited down so much. i'm hoping for a more complete version to be posted later. so we can get the full picture. 8 songs are not going to fit into the next 8 mins...
  10. you know, i got depressed during the few first clips like that and am not paying attention to most of the show any more. just making sure that I am not missing coldplay.
  11. yeah, not that good so far. was hoping i wouldn't have to watch for 3 hours to get to it.
  12. hey, try messaging sparky about coldplaying twitter/fb promo.
  13. so this looks promising. the thing is you have to be more aggressive with getting the word out if you want to actually get this done. so i would suggest contacting the coldplay fansites/twitter accounts and try to convince them to back you up for starters. coldplay fans are pretty scattered at the moment with nothing going on.
  14. ^ oh please no more for lp7. i feel like the noise surrounding chris since the separation has somewhat eclipsed the band. now that it's dying down, looking forward to a strong musical statement with lp7.
  15. mind you, it will go on for 3 hours! fingers crossed this will be broadcast earlier in the show.
  16. wonder whether they had to clear up all the song titles, lyrics and what not from the bakery before recording. the walls seem pretty barren in this. usually during promo, they are pretty much cluttered with things.
  17. you know he once said that if he could have a super power, he wanted to be able to fly.

  19. Coldplay Performs in Palisades Backyard for Communities in Schools Fundraiser Event chaired by Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth honors JK Livin Foundation’s Shannon Rotenberg at dropout prevention event To the parents of the Palisades: sorry. Nothing could be done about the music wafting across Rustin Canyon on Monday night while most children were being put to bed. “We put our little card up in the local Starbucks saying we were available for gigs. The Bermans were very sweet and called us up,” Coldplay front man Chris Martin joked to the crowd gathered in Robin and Ed Berman’s lush backyard garden party where he was the surprise performer at the Communities in Schools Los Angeles Annual Gala. While Martin’s joke drew laughs, the reality is that Martin didn’t call his bandmate Jonny Buckland to ask him to join in until 5 p.m. Monday afternoon, two hours before cars started pulling in to the Palisades for the event dedicated to dropout prevention. The pair figured out their set on the fly. “We are going to play some songs by the band Coldplay,” Martin continued. “They are from England. Nobody really knows about them. But we can play their stuff really well.” Martin and Buckland proceeded to play acoustic versions of classics “Clocks,” “Paradise,” and “A Sky Full of Stars,” taking a suggestion for the final song from Martin offspring Moses and Apple, who were seated Indian-style on the grass in front of the stage. Martin called them his “co-managers” before ordering them off to “bed time” when he walked off stage. But that might not have been the most surreal cameo of the night. the rest
  20. oh batty, come on. i was talking about writing 8 songs. it's almost an lp! not the same thing at all.
  21. oh.. i meant the song itself. btw, how come coldplay are writing 8(!) songs for a mockumentary when they have a new album to write for? are there so many song ideas and time to spare? it's very unorthodox in a way. but probably they were just having a good time.
