  1. What is the latest time you can get a train back to Goole on a Sunday night?
  2. I had thought about that as well. But the bonus is that you will see them as the sun goes down, no? I saw them in Glasgow in early July and it was still spectacular and was dark late on. It doesn't overly concern me.
  3. Amazing, hope you can keep us up to date with news from your road trip :) 14 days from now I will be in Madrid... I should've gone via Portugal...
  4. I didn't say it was BAD, but IMHO definitely not as good as it used to be 4-5-6 years ago. I guess it is like most things though, it was always better back in the day...........
  5. Considering the huge cost of a ticket and the fact they make MILLIONS out of it, it is shocking that it isn't longer. But Chris's voice has gone downhill in the last few years so maybe he's just not up to it anymore.
  6. Sounds do-able. Chopper parked outside waiting for them, no problem at all. Or it could hover into the stadium and they could climb up a rope ladder, Bear Grylls stylee!!
  7. Just need a recording in mp3 now............. ;)
  8. They just HAVE to keep the classics in...... And maybe release a live DVD/album too ;)
  9. Rediculous, I hate the very idea of it.
  10. I paid £247 for four seats (on third level :( ) in Manchester for 10th June. I also paid €120 for a GA ticket to Madrid but this was after it sold out and I hadn't booked my trip to Madrid before I realised I could go........... but I had the ticket delivered in January - just hope it is genuine....
  11. Alex, have you called your credit card provider about this? They can normally sort it and you should be covered as the purchase was over £100 as the service (tickets) were not provided. Same thing if your airline goes bankrupt. They might need a copy of your order confirmation or any correspondence and might insist on waiting until the concert approaches as they may actually turn up in the end. Call them and ask to speak to the fraud department... Let us know how you get on. You have to be VERY VERY careful when buying tickets online, especially for something popular. Don't let your heart overrule common sense wand check a website FULLY before paying up. Even the web addresses of those above seem suspicious to me so I wouldn't even visit!
  12. Still got my fingers crossed for Auckland, I will be there 5-24 November...
  13. I saw them in Glasgow in 2005 (I think), was a brilliant experience, beautiful summer evening as the sun went down, huge crowd. Brilliant memory. Booked to see them twice in the next few months so hoping for more of the same!!
  14. Still up in the air for me, depends on dates and locations and if they will make it to NZ.
  15. Dear god! Looks like I will be arriving as late as possible then..... When I saw them in 2005 they were supported by Morning Runner and.... Supergrass! Now that is a nice pair of support acts!
  16. I bought mine on seetickets, their website says they will start sending them out on 20th May, so I wouldn't expect them anytime soon...
  17. Why pay an extra €25 when you can pick them up for free? You must be insane
  18. I've been told that my ticket for Manchester on 10th June will start being sent on 20th May. Bought a ticket for Madrid on a Spanish website and I got it delivered a month ago........ just hope it's genuine!!
  19. Awesome, very commited, I love this! Great effort!!
  20. Bloody hell! That is steep!! :stunned: I'd have to think hard before spending that kind of cash, but as with all these things it depends how badly you want it. If you want to go then you'll do whatever, or just go to one show rather than two or something. On the other hand, if I hold out for a cheap flight to Australia then you can sometimes save £100..... Hmmmmmmm will have to see......
  21. It's usually about £50 ish for GA and of course the dreaded "booking fee". I would imagine that the $140 would be for a specifically reserved area at the front so would therefore be more. But the cost varies with venue and seating arrangements, etc. Just try to get them from the official channels before they sell out otherwise you are talking mega $$$$$$$$ (as I found out booking for Madrid). Unless you know a generous coldplayer on here...... I am watching for news of dates of this in particular!! :)
  22. Hopefully they will come to NZ as well, even just for one night in Auckland inlate Nov/early Dec.... My god I am timing my holidays well this year :D Fingers crossed.... Can you imagine seeing them in front of Sydney Opera House??
  23. J4MIE replied to kaisin's topic in Us Against The World
    Anyone?? :(
  24. It was the only option ticketbiz gave me - €14.50 to have it delivered overnight by UPS. I know they need me to sign for it but can't help thinking it could have been cheaper, it's not like I need them for a long time.... But as I said previously, I should have been quicker booking and would've been a lot cheaper. I was going to be in Madrid that weekend anyway so it ties in nicely with my trip!
