  1. There you go, Hope you like it!
  2. Hi guys, after a lot of efforts I've managed to recreate the original Fix You Organ sound with the real piece of equipment used by Chris Martin. This is a Korg Triton Rack, and man, you won't believe how good it sounds!
  3. Yes it will. I've just bought a Triton Rack and I've found the Fix You Organ sound. I'll do a video as soon as I can. You need to tweek the parameters to get the same sound, it will take you about a week to get that sound :O
  4. Hello Patrik, heard your covers, you are really talented ;) last part of the chorus of The Scientist is not correct the way you play it, I've seen it during Coldplay Live videos, so It's 100% correct, learnt watching Chris' hands! There you go, hope you like it! By the way I'd like a tutorial of The Hardest Part Live :D
  5. I've sampled the original fix you organ sound :) link in the description of the tutorial, which by the way is the only correct way to play this song, cheers :)
  6. As played live by Chris Martin, hope you like it!
  7. Man, I can't make another tutorial for this lol Use google or try it yourself, I've learnt it that way on my own ;)
  8. Yes man, just use Ableton live sampler, can't go wrong (that's what i'm actually using :P)
  9. For all Coldplay Fans, this is the ultimate tutorial for Fix You Live As a bonus you will find the download of the legendary organ sound, something really rare and special!!! If you want to use it please share my video and give me credits, thanks!
  10. Yes mate I will do fix you next week as soon as I have a little spare time ;)
  11. Hello everyone, this I believe is The ultimate tutorial for The Scientist: 1-1 transcription of what Chris plays, 100% sure and 100% correct, I've learned to play this song putting togheter all the live videos where they were filming Chris hands, so I could see with my eyes which keys he was pressing. And as you may guess, since they don't film his hands all the time during a live performance, I've watched something close to 50 different lives of The Scientist until i got the full song out. Really big effort, hope you like it, good watching and thanks for your support <3
  12. Thanks man, maybe I'm not a great teacher, but be sure that the notes are 1-1 transcription of what Chris plays ;) 100% sure and 100% correct, I've learned to play this song putting togheter all the live videos where they were filming Chris hands, so I could see with my eyes which keys he was pressing. And as you may guess, since they don't film his hands all the time during a live performance, I've watched something close to 50 different lives of The Scientist until i got the full song out :) Big effort but great result in my opinion! Really glad that someone can found my efforts useful!
  13. Oh thanks man, glad you liked it!
  14. Hello everyone, this i believe is The ultimate tutorial for The Scientist Hope you like it, i've put all of my efforts to make it as close to perfection as i could! Good watching!
  15. Mmmm no. I sampled the sounds by myself from the instrumental version of the song. There are a lot of software to extract single notes from chords, search on google and you will find them. Then i made an instrument with ableton live sampler loading my own samples from the song. I use the piano as a midi keyboard to play ableton live on my computer.
  16. oh i don't have hammers, I count the hammers in the videos to know which key he's pressing, since you can't always clearly see them :) yes i know i should, same story with the guitar! i'll do a cover of yellow as soon as i can, both with the piano and the guitar :D
  17. oh thanks man, i really appreciate it! but there's a problem...i can't read music, so i play by ear...or as I say by eyes! everything i've learned is by watching what chris is playing on the keyboard...so i cound the hammers down, the keys down, i look at his hands, and so I can play exactly the same chords or notes! I know it may sound weird, and it is...imagine how many videos you have to see to spot every single chord on the song, but that's the result :) the notes i play in the scientist are exactly the same that plays chris, so this is the only "correct" version of it, let's say it's not an interpretation :) so if you want i can make a video where you can see the keyboard from a better view ;) oh btw if you want a video to compare my version you can have a look at this :) except from the intro, mine is taken from the itunes festival live! 18. oh btw, that's my piano sound for chris martin's live performances, tell me how to improve it!! thanks :D [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKsFHgmDr7s]The Scientist piano cover - Coldplay - (as played live by Chris Martin) - YouTube[/ame]
  19. i meant a trade! c'mon it will only coast you 3000 euros, it's cheap XD ahaha people would kill for that sound, i would kill for that piano :D
  20. I can give you my Chris Martin's organ sound sample for your piano! i'm jokin', love your piano btw :D [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlADsEpv0Qs]Fix You organ cover - Coldplay - (as played live by Chris Martin) - YouTube[/ame]
  21. The sound has been professionally sampled from the x&y recordings, extracting the single notes from the chords. My video has been recorded with a camera, if I upload the mp3 file from the mixer out i bet it won't sound the same as you say :P this is the same sound used by chris martin, if you want an audio file you will hear the difference...so i'm using a computer, doesn't matter the piano, the keyboard, the model or whatever you want, it will sound the same, it's a matter of sample
  22. it's insync because coldplay always use a metronome to be insync with the base, so everytime they play a song live it will have the same bpm of the studio one! great video btw!!!
