  1. I LOVE this thread :)
  2. oh and by the way my name is Lisa :elephant:
  3. this is a great group - not unlike the band themselves ;) I really don't know anyone who's a Coldplay fan, which explains why I went by myself to see them in concert on July 23 - I had SO much fun, first time I'd seen them live in concert - hopefully not my last either! it was a stunningly beautiful experience. at times I felt like we were in a giant "snowglobe" :dazzled:
  4. well i won't tell anyone  ... I don't know anyone personally who likes Coldplay (as much as I do anyway) so Chris' "secret" is safe. it really shows humility - sweet. as a "sorta new" Coldplay fan it's really nice to hear about. (tho I've enjoyed their songs for years - seeing them in concert on July 23 really made me a real fan). I work at a hospital (no I'm not a nurse). Chris' encouragement & positive comments to that 14 year old probably was just as good as medicine :sunny:
  5. that's great that this (upgrades) happens ... only wished it had've happened to me LOL. but I was in a fairly decent (section 122) area. And, those are *fantastic* photos - now I need to dry off the drool on my laptop's keyboard :laugh3:
  6. or at least pubicized like in the Toronto Star or something. I had heard nothing of this until I read it here. shows what a great bunch of down-to-earth guys they are, and Chris' comment to the 14 year old boy regarding the Junos ... wow. shows he's a real sweetheart
  7. that is truly wonderful. and the fact that it went unpublicized makes it even more special for those kids. wow. am so glad I <3 Coldplay :dazzled:
  8. these captions are truly ROTFL :)
  9. i'm having too much fun here :laugh3:
  10. while walking around, before their set, drinking a vodka cooler ;) I saw a real mix of ages of people in attendance *note, this was my first Coldplay concert* and hopefully not my last! I was truly impressed with them, how they really put on SUCH a fantastic show. (I only wished I liked my job like those guys obviously do).
  11. what a fantastic concert ... I WAS blown away! they sounded so fantastic, and the special effects - I felt like we were, during the confetti, in a giant snowglobe called the ACC. it was incredible WOW :drummer:
  12. I plan to have LOTS of fun. I so deserve it, if I do say so myself
  13. I'm hoping that Coldplay will go til 11 pm. after all I've got tomorrow off work too :guitarist:
  14. according to Twitter, both Live Nation Ontario & the ACC posted today, a couple hours ago, ... Doors open at 6 pm / the first opener is 7 to 7:30, the second act is 7:45 to 8:30 ... and... Coldplay is from 9 to 10:45
