  1. The guy who does the X-posure album playback is called John Kennedy, and he is an absolute legend. He doesn't ask douchey questions to the band like other interviewers do and he'll ask the band to explain reasons why they've made the album so etc. Plays some fantastic unknown bands and underground music too. I remember when he did the playback for X&Y and it was definitely worth a listen.
  2. Longwave - Everywhere you turn
  3. 1. Oasis - Hello 2. Ash - Goldfinger 3. Longview - When You Sleep 4. Travis - Writing to Reach you 5. Pearl Jam - Corduroy 6. Semisonic - Closing Time 7. South - Colours in Waves 8. Caesars Palace - Jerk it Out 9. Creed - Weathered 10. Led Zeppelin - Tangerine 11. Longwave - Crash 12. Doves - Caught By the River 13. iDLEWiLD - World in your arms 14. New Order - True Faith 15. 4. I swear they tossed this song off ROBTTH for Clocks, as I've heard many times that was the last track to make it on the record and Chris was adament about putting it on the LP.
  5. Erm, yeah, Easy to please and See you soon and Help is around the corner. Hey, they just aren't fun to me.
  6. I don't really like Help is just around the corner.
  7. Likely to be songs like GRavity and Moses which are unalbummed but have been played live already.
  8. Kill his poncey crapness in singing.
  9. Yes both are simple, yet have strong moral tones which are expressed mean they go deeper than the obvious, which is not what everyone does when listening to songs, it always depends on current moods, thats why I hated Murder when I first heard it and now its my favorite Coldplay b-side.
  10. I think they should actually release a filler Album this year (as a stop gap, the new one will still come out next year) which has all those decent songs affore mentioned which are not albumed, tracks like Animals, Ladder to the sun and Poor Me can feature as new tracks, maybe one making A-side status. Obviously nobody will agree with me but you know, Doves did it and so did Oasis.
  11. Nice welcome here. Not sure about being a vegetable. Yeah some Nickelback stuff smells I admit (Figured you out and Never Again aren't exctly on my honours list) but when they produce songs like Throw Yourself Away, Do This Anymore, Woke up this Morning and Fly you have to say they have some talent. Yeah I'm a sucker for some heavier stuff. :/
  12. Just give a heads up. I'm 16, live in London etc. Other bands Im into: Longview Blur Oasis Stereophonics Muse Stiltskin Travis Iron Maiden Pearl Jam Nickelback Default So thats it.
  13. Either Only Superstition or Warning Sign.
  14. Spies is the best track of Parachutes, along with Everything's not lost, they're equally as good. I like sparks but I can't help thinking its too quiet a song, like We never change.
  15. Not to forget the quality of New Order. INXS fans forgot Mystify, which is my favourite INXS song. Also check out stuff by U2 such as New Year's Day and Where the Streets have no name.
