exactly i just listened to those 2 songs and i heard a difference between the 2.

I know there was another thread on this somewhere but i couldnt find it so i apologize.I think someone might have had this theory also but im not sure.But i think that the 2 sides(X Tracks&Y Tracks)have something to do with one another.There was one theory goin around that the X tracks are more upbeat and the Y tracks were more mellow or it might have been the other way around. I thought about a theory the other day.Someone might have said this earlier somewhere else,if so i dont take credit for it.But i was lookin at the cd and all the X tracks are labeled X1,X2,X3,etc. The the Y tracks Y1,Y2,Y3,etc. So i think that the matching numbers,for example,"X1-Square One and Y1-Speed of Sound"have someting to do with one another.Be it being opposite from one another like Chris explained that was kind of the meaning of X&Y,or continuing a theme or story between the 2 songs. Im not sure though i could be wrong,im still listening to the songs back to back.Ill listen to Square one,then Speed Of Sound to see if there is anything i can catch between the 2 songs and im gonna do that for all the others.I dont know i could be wrong but its a decent theory i think to try and check out.Plus i think it would be fun lol.But what do you guys think.Have any theories?

Mybe theyll do it like the Speed Of Sound b-sides with a totally new song and then a studio version of an older song like Ladder to the Sun or Solid Ground, one that wasnt done in the studio before.That would be cool.

Do you guys think that they will play any of the new b-sides like Things I Dont Understand or Proof or any of the other new ones of the future singles?That would be pretty cool,but i know there is a slim chance if any that will happen,but maybe theyll sneak one in there during one concert maybe!

Maybe if i dont have any other ideas and plus im not very computer literate so it could take some time lol.

Some people have done this already,but only a couple have posted their videos.But i was wondering if anybody ever thought about taking any Coldplay song that they thought they could make a video too.Like your own personal video. What realistic and easy ideas or concept would you come up with for your video and what song would you use?Would you get your own actors or just a simple video with no actors and just nature or some computer effects?Being some of us only have a video camera or digital camera that takes videos so some peoples options would be limited.But im not very good when it comes to computers but i guess i have this little music video thing on my comp so i just thought it might be cool to make a video or somethin lol i dont know.but anyways what song would you use and what would be the concept behind ur video?

If you were going to tell a friend or someone who has not heard or really listend to Coldplays music.Which album of the the 3 would you tell them to listen too first.Im kinda leaning toward AROBTTH and i dont think i would tell them to get X&Y first seeing as it is slightly different but not much from the first 2 albums but they also have some great songs on there.So i was wondering what everyone would recommend for a first time listener?

There is 2 performance clips of SOS and In My Place along with a little interview on yahoo.com now.I like the 2 performances.Johnny on the acoustic for both and chris on piano on both as well along with will and guy.I like the SOS performance you can hear the piano a lot more same for in my place i think it gives anothe element to the songs.The interview was pretty cool too.So go check it out at yahoo.com!

the TOTP website only plays a 30 sec clip and it didnt even play for me.Does anyone have the actual full video performance?

i love it just the way it is.Its good to hear a studio version after all this time.I wonder if there is gonna be anymore studio recording as b-sides like ladder to the sun an some others.Cant wait to see!
