re: IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO AMAZINGGGGG!!! It was my first Coldplay concert ever..and I must say..I never had a better time at a concert..ever. I don't think I will ever enjoy a concert as mnuch as I did that night!!! They sounded beyond fantastic...I mean, so many bands can sound so horrible on stage on live. But they were just amazing..really really great. There was so much emotion inthe room!! I loved it. Unfortunately, I was kind of far from the stage (section 302- row E, seat 10) but it doesn't matter...Just being there listening to their music!! I was sooo happy that they played Amsterdam b/c it wasn't a very publicized track, and it's one of my favorites on AROBTH. The part when the girl..I think her name was Christy..came on stage, b/c she had donated A LOT of money to the Robinhood foundation..and she sang "In My Place." I loved it!!! And the whole crowd sang w/ her..The whole night was just one big highlight!! Nothing stood out more than the others b/c everything was just soo soo well done. I LOVED during The Scientist when everyone turned on their lighters..it was so beautiful. And also during "Trouble"..the last verse. It was something amazing. When everyone just came together and sang it..I love Coldplay even more now. I didn't see Gwyneth..but I thought she would definitely be there. I didn't see any other celebs either, but I'm sure there were a few here and there. All in all..one of the best nights of my life..they are an incredible band w/ a lot to share. Chris pointed out that it would be the last time that they play here for a while..but I can't wait till the next time they come. WELL DONE BOYS!!!

I'm not much of an emo fan. I mean, I just can't get anything out of listening to it. But I LOVE Dashboard. The MTV Unplugged album is amazing..I wouldn't even call them 'emo.' They just sound so much better. A lot of people call them whinney. But I don't hear it. I could be very wrong though. :?

I'm seeing them them tonight in NY. ;) I love them. Right now I'm basically listening to anything out of the UK. Recently, I've really come to enjoy the Music and Idlewild a lot..I mean, I've been a Coldplay,Radiohead, and Oasis fan for so long. But I just recently foudn out about those two.

hmm. Around me ( in the US) barely anyone know's who The Music is. I love them though..I just started listening to them a couple of months ago. But I don't think they will take the spotlight from Coldplay. Coldplay is becoming HUGE in the eyes of Americans, I don't think many are thinking about The Music right now. Does anyone know if they'll be supporting Coldplay during the months of May and June also?

I got my hands on some early tickets from the K-Rock pre-sale. :) :-D I did not know about this pre-sale until an hour and a half before it ended, but atleast I got the seats. :P I'm soooo excited!! I can't wait to finally see them LIVE!! This totally made my week. By the sounds of it and all the reviews I've been reading from you all lately, this shound be on of the greatest experiences.

Nice to see you at the board Rachael. I totally agree with every word you said!! He truly is a genius..and his lyrics have such meaning. I can't explain it, but they make me think twice. And everytime I hear a Coldplay song I just want to lash out and sing w/ it. It's something that I don't think many other bands can give me..they have real meaning.

Yes, Radiohead and Coldplay are beyong phenominal acts..and are two of the greatest bands that have come from the UK, but I don't see the comparison. Besides the fact that they play alt. rock, their lyrics are very different and their music sounds the least bit the same. I'm a little sick of these comparisons, and would like to see Coldplay be viewed on their own as a unique and individual band set apart from the rest. I don't feel in any way that they're trying to impersonate the rest.

re: Thank you so much Sarah! :D I love this song. All of these new songs that they are playing on the tour are fantastic. I mean, I would think that they wouldn't be as great as the ones of the album b/c they're "scraps." But they're just as amazing as A Rush of Blood to the Head. Gosh..they could never fail.

I absolutely love all the songs he performs w/ Coldplay, but his other collaborations are also great. "Where Is My Boy" is just such a sweet, emotional song..but he still keeps the same vibe, which is nice. He stays at his roots.
