I used to think as you, Denise. But i'm volunteer of Junior Achievement, an ONG (in portuguese) that "uses hands-on experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with business and educators, Junior Achievement brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential. After all, kids are our future" (i took from the oficial site.... :D ) and as volunteer i started to "live" with a lot of teenagers. but when you say/explain to them important things about economy, marketing, etc... they really respect you and get you as an example of professional. it's really great.... (i said it nowadays, cuz i use to hate them too)
