Well, I think that in the Netherlands the gay community is less "silly" because it's more out in the open, so there's less need for all the attention-grabbing antics. As for me, I've been out & about for quite some time now. Feels pretty good ;) It allows you to be comfortable with who you are, gay, bi straight, whatever.

I must admit that only my parents, brother & one uncle and his family know out of all my big family. Absolutely everyone else I know knows. The reason I'm not coming out to the rest of my relatives is religion as well. Tends to narrow the mind awfully, that does. I think the country you live in also plays a role, doesn't it?

I can tell you from experience that coming out, whether the reaction is positive or negative, is a huge relief ;) Any particular reason why your family would dislike it?

Sleepy, and glad I don't have exams until the 25th. Only one, also. Have to pass it though, I'm doing the course for the second time already :P I think I will eat chocolate now. Yes, that seems like a good idea! *grabs chocolate*

Yeah, only mirrored. My webcam is kinda weird that way :) It costs €8.95 where I live! And also, it's between my teeth because my cam is built into my mac, so I can't move it around :P I had to hold it all up.

Yeah it was about the same, with the difference that no-one had heard anything beside an early mix of Talk and some live songs from a KRCW gig. This time everyone's heard the songs that have been given away, so maybe more of a build-up? Somehow I'm more excited about this one =)
