The uncontolled growth of population is mainly in Africa, and they are messed up in many other areas as well.I was talking about procreation per se, what you mentioned is totally different issue.This isn't about economics.It's simple, couples of the same gender can not have children, and in a way that makes them partly useless to the society.

Well It doesn't have to mean children, but in most cases it does.Because without procreation, you aren't contributing to society, with less kids there'll be less people to spend money, less people to get a job, needless to say your nation will shrink in size, and in the worst-case scenario without kids humans would extinct. Don't think I'm attacking homo people here, but this is just common sense.

Gah, I'm sick of this, it's not real Islam, it's this and that bla bla, but people in power in theese muslim countries, who I presume know more about Islam than I do, issue fatwas and calls for deaths of unbelivers every time when somebody mentions Islam in anything less than glorious way.So yeah, you can tell it's extremist who hijacked the religion of peace, but this extremist is kind of behaviour westerners see most often, and do I need to mention that the awfully big chunk of muslim traditions are in conflict with elementary values that people in the west cherish(universal suffrage, freedom of critical speech, freedom of religion, and many others).
