The first time I heard Coldplay was back when Yellow was first released. I was up late watching Mtv and the video came on. At the time I was into Ricky Martin (I know, I know :rolleyes: ) lol anyway, I heard Chris' voice and instantly was drawn to it. I sat there and couldnt beleive my ears. "Who was that?" I thought. I was so taken in that I didnt even pay attention to the name of the band or song. So, I stayed up late the next nite to see if I could catch it again and I had a tape in the vcr ready to record it. (I still have the tape) hehe anyway, I was thinking he was a solo artist and surprised to see it was a band named Coldplay. I went to the shop the next morning and bought Parachutes. I have been hooked ever since. I remeber going on and on about the cd to everyone I knew and always got the same response, "What is coldplay?" Now I cant find a single person who hasnt at least heard of them.

Well I have several drunken stories, some not so nice, like the time I was arrested when I was 16 for underage drinking, and I kept asking the police officer if I was going to get fired from my job, at McDonalds :rolleyes: lol I wasnt even worried at the time that they had to drag my mum out of bed to pic me up. Then another time I made the mistake of drinking alot of wisky after eating a bowl of chili, let me tell you, the DD driving the car wasnt too happy when I felt sick and puked, trying to catch it in my hand, ewwww and tried to throw it out the window and it got all over him.

I really dont have any connections. Sorry to disappoint many of you. I am just very lucky and happen to meet them before and after shows. I have seen people get handed backstage passes from the crew, and to find they didnt even get to meet the band. I will tell you at one show I waited after the show was over and snuck backstage. That was very scary but awsome. The very first Coldplay show I go to and I get my AROBTTH poster signed: To Mary, with love Coldplay and all four of them signed it. I only got my pic taken with Will that night but it was one of the best experiences in my life. But, really it all comes down to luck. So good luck to all of you. ;)

I am bored, so forgive me if this was lame, but I timed the timer, and noticed it is selling 300 songs a minute, 18,000 per hour and so I figure that they will hit 500,000,000 in about 12 days-which would be July 26.

I know chris is always calling him funny names. I get along great with all of them. They are so nice. It gets a little crazy out on the road. I cant wait to come back to the states. I love seeing that big beautiful country and the people are so nice.
