I think it all has great potential. I am in love with the sound of the new songs, but know they will sound way better in good studio quality. I think you might have just enjoyed talk more because it was better quality? I think square one, what if and white shadows will just blow people away when they are finally done. Very good potential to be a masterpeice record!

someone on the official board who was at the secret gig said chris told them it (the cover) was about the red, blue, and yellow bands on his hands, or something to do with that?

i think hes right, but we have been told the second single has been decided, im guessing that is what if. although im really beginning to LOVE white shadows!

they said on a radio interview they WILL be opening it, so its officially the new opener. trust me, ill try and find where they said it.

i am boldly saying its better than politik....... :/ and beleive me politik is an amazing song. I just think it has that much potential, and already from the interviews the band are really devoted to making it work, especially live as the set opener!

it sounds very simple, and the lyrics are great, and i think it will be so much better once it is recorded for the album! This song has great potential.

i think X&Y will be the 8minute long anti-war anthem we heard of way back when.........kind of inbetween everythings not lost and a rush of blood tothe head.

see to me What If is not much like the scientist, its more like Amsterdam? with the epic buildup and all.

speed of sound, makes me think of the guys on tron like bikes whizzing around for the music video. :wink3:

ok dont listen to the new songs, but during yellow the lights dont work, and chris sings the funniest part ever, yelling to the crew about the lights, it is hilarious as the tone of his voice is so serious but at the same time you know he is having fun. i listen to the song just to hear that part!

i just hope theres not too many SOFT songs, like green eyes, a message, we never change stuff like that. dont get me wrong those are great songs, but 3 or 4 of those songs on one album will suffocate that which is rock.

wow drinky, so will you be able to give us a headsup on when it is first played or whatever, im sure we will hear it. although the video isnt even done yet, so it cant be played on tv? Anyway i cant wait!
