"No, because whenever I hear our songs on the radio, I always think they're rubbish," he said. "That's why we write new songs, because we think we can do better. For six months when we were making the album I thought 'The Scientist' was the best song of all time, no joking, I thought 'We'll never top that'. But we will top it. We're got a new song called 'Charlotte's Song' and another one called 'X & Y' and both of those are better." This must have been from 2002, when they won at the Q Awards. Even way back then Chris stated that it was even better than The Scientist. I have never heard of 'Charlotte's Song' before. Anyone know any more about this? Then debs said she has never heard of Charlottes Song and is going to ask Chris whether or not it has gone under a name change at all. This is really interesting stuff!

debs just said this on the official board I keep reading people talking about Square One being first single, but whoever said that? Hmm, I don't think it's an intended single at all. That said, it's Track 1 on the album and will open the shows and is one of my personal faves! so at least we know that it will be opening the shows, that is awesome. I now hope they move politik to open the encore!

On the new site we can now see it is no longer called "in my place" but the MEMBERS AREA> I dont really like the change. But, can we expect the entire design and style of the website to change once we begin to get some album art and perhaps a cover? I would like it if they changed it and modeled it toward the album.

I just noticed that all of these tracks (other than X&Y obviously) dont have a single X or Y in them. Square One What If? Well we got the news, but no single....no new coldplay song for another 2 months. that seems like a long time, but the album will be out two weeks after that (doesnt that seem like a short interval to you?) but anyway I am excited!

i personally am not so thrilled about the album title. It just doesnt sound right to me yet, but it will grow on me. It really doesnt matter too much, because the songs are going to be great. By the way Speed of Sound is a cool name for a single. At least now they have given us dates!

i know what you mean, but th_e whole situation with TALK is just really bizzarre, because it was on th_e album, then off, single, not a single, leaked, threads deleted, on the radio. Its just all really odd.
