I doubt it, as coldplay are very careful with their material, and as far as we know the album isnt even done yet. I think the first things we will hear are songs from live sets once they start playing those small gigs in England.

Shouldn't we all have learned by know? This happens with lots of bands and many albums, because of all the hype people seem to lose sight of the fact that the band are keeping this top secret. Wasn't it with AROBTTH that they only carried one copy of the album with them and it was heavily guarded by security? Anyway, it doesn't matter because people will always put "fake" songs up there because everyone is so freakin paranoid to hear them first!

There is nothing on the official site, or on any other sites like nme.com or xfm.co.uk. Also there is not even a mention on the official coldplay message board. Also remember we got those emails saying that we would be notified of stuff through "in my place" well i check every day and there is never anything new there. I think this is a problem limited to coldplaying.com

Could this be a hack or a really mean trick or an early early april fool's joke? If only. Berrychen, can you confirm that this is not the album title, as that is really a long shot in my mind. Otherwise, what is going on???

better off yet, maybe they are really toying with us, and have secretly given us some more album news. Maybe coldplay's third album is called "Cancelled". :rolleyes:

Well I like the album version too, but you can definitely feel a different energy from the live version. They just jam on their instruments and is truly a great sound. I know when I saw them on tour, it was one of the more energetic songs! Both versions are good, however I know what you are talking about, the end is amazing!

I just looked at the MTV website again and the listing now does not include Coldplay? What's going on?

A-ha take on Coldplay - Jan 18th Coldplay have teamed up with A-ha - well one member of the Norwegian trio at least. Mags, who now goes under the name of Magne, performed a showcase of his new material in London last night. His solo album features collaborations with Ed Harcourt, Andy from Travis and Will and Guy from Coldplay. Magne told us how it all came about: "It's a friendship network really - with Coldplay we met in Barcelona on tour." "It's a friendly thing and we then came to realise that they'd grown up as A-ha fans - we had sort of a mutual appreciation society happening!" "They have been to Norway since, and as my kids are huge fans I could introduce them to their heroes - it was a weird time-warp situation!"

Are they still recording, still deciding between those final tracks, or are they deciding a tracklist and doing final artwork? I know we have been hearing a few bits of news but nothing really official, and I am really starting to wonder how far off this album really is. I know it's for a great cause, but Chris going to Ghana for Oxfam while the band still isn't done the album just doesn't seem right to me. Has anyone else been thinking this?

Chris is just so critical! We all agree that their music is superior, but in order to get to that level it is unfortunate the band is always under so much pressure, and these rumours always come about. I just hope the guys can pull through again. If they get this album out and it is as good as they say it is, then they should build up confidence from all of its success.

Well at first it was one of my least favourite songs on Parachutes. But over time it has grown on me and really become a great song to just lay down and relax too. This also happened to me with Warning Sign. They are both just very simple but beautiful.

They are so overly critical that he said they may not even finish this album if it is not shop worthy. We must all remember he said the same thing after A Rush Of Blood To The Head. I'm starting to wonder what to believe from his words. You can never tell if he is dead serious, or just saying it. It would be disasterous for the band to break up. I know we all really anticipate this album, and hopefully it won't be their last because they have so many years ahead of them.
