I thought it would be a cool idea if we all kept one thread were we could update purely just info that we find out on the album as we go along, sort of as a reference point for new users as well as for us regulars to compile all the tidbits of information.

I really like it too. Has anyone seen the black shirts the guys wear all the time. The ones that make them look like Geography teachers? Well I have been looking for one like that for about a year now, finally found one yesterday! Funny thing is I am in Teacher's College to become a History/Geography teacher.

I really preferred his hair as it was during the 2003 tour, with the little afro. This looks quite strange on him. It appears as if he is walking, perhaps with some of the band? Does anyone have the larger picture?

Ya it definitely confused me too, something about an unofficial book but with consent or something? I know the guys werent directly involved but thought maybe they gave him permission to do his take on it. He also bothers me by consistently spelling Politik "Politix" which really got annoying after the 10th time.

I got the book from a local store called Coles which is in the chain with Chapters and Indigo, as I said in Canada. It features the band on the cover along with the tour artwork from the 2003 tour. I would also like to say that Coldplay DID INDEED consent to the writing of this book as it says right in the text.

I found this book called "Look At The Stars" in my local store (Canada) annd it is quite interesting. It is written by Gary Spivak a former Capitol Records exec that was close to the band. There are some amazing pictures in here, and goes into very deep detail the band from their lives before college, to after A Rush Of Blood To The Head, as far as when they played Moses and Ladder To The Sun on tour in 2003. One of the most interesting things in the book is the band's track by track description of AROBTTH from right after they completed it. For Warning Sign Chris said it is his least favourite song and he will never play it again. It was quite depressing for me as this is a wonderful song. Anyway, for any Coldplay fan it is a very interesting read, highly recommended!

Well we already saw that the album was going to be leaked a week ahead on mtv.com's The Leak. So ya, it will be out at least a week before release.

How do you know that Square One, The Hardest Part, Till Kingdom Come, and What If? are the singles? I doubt they know what the singles are going to be as the album isnt even done yet.

Ya this is by far the best news yet, as not only will there be more songs but we can tell they are getting closer to completion. Already performing a few songs, maybe they can give some more official news soon.

This is the kind of news we have all been waiting for. So ya, at least 12 tracks, which is awesome. Will was heard saying they wanted 11, which means we are getting some really good songs if they didnt cut as many out. I'm assuming the Cash song was "Till Kingdom Come". I wonder why they think it is so obscure? Also, we can add "A Message" to the list of tracks we know. What If? Square One Talk The Hardest Part X&Y Till Kingdom Come A Message We really know over half the album titles already? Also we must keep in mind what the album title could be? Anyway this is great news!

I guess we will just have to wait...

I wish Coldplay would officially announce something so that all these silly rumours would go away.

I'm assuming he was focussed on the news and events and debate rather than coldplay and the album, nothing was mentioned about the upcoming release im sure?
