  1. I'm at Royce hall right now. The box office is closed it would seem
  2. totally right dianne about sony show. i feel as though i spoiled myself, and all other shows will be unable to match that "once in a lifetime experience". good luck to all still trying to find tickets have fun to all that managed to get tickets
  3. did you win by calling in or by signing up on the website?
  4. I definately dont think this is the same show. One is at Royce Hall at UCLA (part of the 6 shows in their mini tour) on Monday while the other is an album release party at iHeartRadio theater in Burbank on Friday. Kudos to anyone who has already won tickets to this Friday show, but it seems as though everyone thus far has only won their tickets by calling in? Has anyone on this thread won from signing up on Coldplay website or 98.7 or KROQ? If not, does anyone know when they will start notifying people who won the raffles? Thanks
  5. I know for sure westwood village parking is much cheaper, like 5-6 dollars
  6. not exactly, I guess they have a two ticket limit, so some people could also buy two singles and sell one, while keeping the other
  7. its unlikely that you can sell tickets, unless one was fortunate enough to get 2 tickets. I say this cause at the Sony Pictures CITI event a few months ago, they weren't allowing ticket handoffs once you picked up the tickets from will call. I dont think finding tickets would be difficult if you are really planning on spending lots of money, but delivering the tickets I feel would be difficult for this event unless you find someone to be their "plus one" for.
  8. Yah I had a similar experience. I won't say front row, but its the front section (cuz you have row L it would be 12th row i think), as opposed to the balcony section above. Yah I go to UCLA so I'll be in the area all day. Below I included a link that is pretty cool. It is an interactive seating chart for royce hall which you can use to see your exact seat location in relation to the entire venue. http://www.ticketmaster.com/laco-bach-mozart-double-los-angeles-california-05-18-2014/event/0B004AD5F96296BE?artistid=822271&majorcatid=10002&minorcatid=203
  9. Center is the center section of the orchestra section (right in front). I also got center section row H. Soo excited to see them. Unfortunately I was only able to get a single ticket. Did anybody get seats nearby; it would be nice to actually know people around me, although I totally dont mind going solo.
  10. Tickets to the Royce Hall show are all I can think about and its over a month away and no info is known yet about how and when they go on sale so I totally know how you feel cheeetaz. And I got a midterm on tuesday. Really excited but worst possible timing for announcing these shows. Good luck to you, hope you get good seats!!
  11. I totally agree with you, but my concern is if they have a similar setlist like the Sony Pictures shows they did in March where they only played 4 oldies and the entire ghost stories album. I really want to hear stuff they dont usually perform, but if they play so few old ones, they usually end up playing the same ones (scientist, clocks, viva la vida etc)
  12. Yah I am definitely wondering the same. I really hope they play a mix of new and old as opposed to the entire new album.
  13. Does this mean that there will be no "real" world tour? or is this just a promo tour leading up to a bigger tour (larger venue, more shows)? Because if this is the new format, it will make it really difficult for true Coldplay fans to see them. Getting tickets will be pure luck cuz there'll be soo many people fighting it out for fewer than 3000 tickets. Scalpers always find ways to get around presales or other devices supposedly implemented to help fans. Although I love the idea of "intimate shows" I pray really badly that they still play larger venues. Plus I already got my "intimate" fix seeing them at two of the three "sony pictures" shows already. Nonetheless, I am still gonna try super hard whenever the Royce Hall tickets go on sale. Good luck to every coldplayer, hopefully we all find a way to see them live.
  14. I'm lucky I go to UCLA and can make this show if I get tickets, but does this mean that they are not going to do more shows throughout US at larger venues? because I really loved their Hollywood Bowl Mylo Xyloto gig
  15. I havent been able to get the tune out of my head since saturday. Lyrics are simple, but the sound is just something else. During the taping, Chris tried to teach the audience this chant to do at the end of the song for the DVD, and so he played the chorus or something ("Because you're a sky, You're A sky full of stars, Such a heavenly view, Such a heavenly view) on the piano by himself, without the rest of the band. Even that just sounded amazing. I just cant wait till they release this song.
