  2. a serio? nao chove?
  4. tomorrow it's gonna be great!! i love snow patrol! i should be doing some work....
  5. oh you are going to move from your city to go to another to study? that seems cool! :)....and i'm really glad you will be able to come to this forum!! :nice: i think i heard somewhere that portugal is one of the countries with most holidays!! but i really don't mind! :smug:.....you are going to do three exams then? oh yeah i hate when the classroom is really dark and you are having a boring subject! i had french in school and didn't like it....and i, as my classmates, only know a bit of french after 6 years of studying it! our teachers didn't taught us too well and in general when you learn a language only from school you don't get good results....i think our schools (portuguese ones) don't teach languages well!! edit: btw, who is the guy in your pic? seems cute! :wink3:
  6. you taught yourself but you know how to play, even if it's just a little bit! ;) that seems cool! i'm really interested in that! when you start your degree i want you to tell me everything about it!! :sneaky: ;) oh i like that part of hidtory....i like all the history from the 2oth century i guess ... i'm so glad too! and tomorrow here in portugal it's holiday so i'll have three days to rest!! it's been raining so much over here!! today i got sooo wet!!
  7. miguel!.....i asked julia why you didn't come here for a few days! espero que esteja tudo bem! pareces estar optimo! :nice:
  8. same here
  9. well i can't imagine myself too :uhoh:...i chose these degree because it was the only one i felt interested in, the only i felt i would not get easily tired....when i finish it and only then will i think about my future .....it's bad but i really didn't know what to do so i chose this.... :stunned: you play a lot of different instruments then!....i meant that but also like: are you supposed to listen to a song and know if it is from the 18th or 19th century for example? oh i didn't study anything today! :(....in fact i should be doing the stupid work for uni but i'm tired and sleepy and really don't feel like doing it!....history exam? what is it about? hope you do well! :nice:....holidays would feel like heaven now!!!.....and i understand: i was tired of school sometimes too, now with uni i'm tired of so much work but i actually like all my subjects except one! and i get bad mood too! it's normal i guess! everyone has that phases i think....your parents probably too! :P
  10. oh actually my parents were not so pleased with my choice! my mother always wanted to see me in Law....and my father just wanted anything that would give me a more stable job though he thinks it's interesting....but anyway, i like it so i don't care! :P.....you must be like the second person to tell me that it's interesting!! :stunned:....yeah history was one of my favorite subjects in school ;) please do let me know! ;).....do you play any instrument? and will you study music from other centuries? sorry about my curiosity but it seems really interesting...i don't play any instrument but i think i would be interested in your degree too! i couldn't live without music but i'm too lazy to learn any instrument :dozey:
  11. oh yeah you need to have positive marks on the exams of the subjects you need for the degree....and you need to have a positive media in every subject or else you can't finish school... well...it has to do with contemporany history and how states/countries relate to each other....when i finish it i supposedly can be a diplomat or represent my country in any way, or working in an international organisation like United Nations or European Union....but well for that you have to be really good and of course people need to thrust you....i like my degree but i don't know what i'll do after....oh and you can work in the Portuguese parlament or be a politician or do anything that has to with politics.... boring for you probably no? :P musicology?? that seems interesting! do you need to play an instrument or it's just the theoric studying of music? yeah i can choose minor too...please tell me what you chose then! i'll be interested in knowing! ;) edit: sorry for the time i'm taking to answer....i'm doing a work for uni at the same time
  12. your parents were awesome then!! ;) oh ok didn't know that in german things worked that way...yeah i'm lazy too so i'm not a good influence :P, i have the feeling i could get better marks if i wasn't this lazy....and i studied all on the week before my mosty important exams....those are national and you need them to enter in uni and only who has better grades can enter so...you see...it was important! i didn't have the grades i wanted but i still got in the degree i wanted. so now i'm in the first year of uni studying international relations. do you know what it is? most people don't that's why i'm asking... what are your plans after you finish your exams? will you go to uni?
  13. i'm glad your exam turned out to be ok in the end....i had those too!.....was your car or the other car damaged? :uhoh: oh i have a BIG problem in getting up early....it's really difficult for me!.....yeah i'm sure you will manage it well, are you in the last year of school? oh ok i didn't know...hope he comes back here soon anyway :) i'm fine....i just have the feeling i should be studying much more than i am....i mean i'm at uni, i'm supposed to study everyday and that's something i'm really not doing....and as you, i also feel the pressure because i'll have tests, exams and papers to deliver.... but other than that everything is fine i guess, thanks for asking :)
  14. hehe....that's the benefit of not having private lessons i guess! ;) that's something discussed around the house too! yeah we've got the pressure but i guess they end up being more tired..... the only things i don't like about being a student is: wake up really early, the routine (you follow the same schedual every week) and pressure (specially in those subjects when you don't understand anything at all!) but other than that...it's good being with people from your age (well more in school than at uni) and when you don't have exams it's great!!! oh and at least here your vacations are much bigger!! btw julia, do you know what Miguel has been up to?? haven't seen him online for some days now... well maybe it's my fault because i haven't been much time here lately, too busy with uni!! hope everything is ok with you! :nice:
  15. :laugh4: :laugh4: how original!
  16. why am i so depressed? i hate it when i can't find a direct explanation... why am i so different??
  17. yes julia don't feel lonely on this one! :nice: yeah pressure from uni/school is the worst!!!
  18. very good alyssa! i don't know why but i love the arm and hand
  19. i feel like that sometimes only because i had to listen to at least one coldplay song a day and now i can spend weeks without listening to them....but when i feel more depressed, like really low i can't resist to everyhthing's not lost for example.... i'm more in a rock phase now and before i would listen to music which was more slow.... now....when i was a child and didn't know what real music was i'd listen to backstreet boys, britney spears (i had her first album but then gave it because i couldn't even see it anymore!):embarassed:.....i have californication from rhcp and listened when it was new but then i just stopped and never heard it again and when i listen to them on the radio now i just change, i can't stand it..... i'm sure i'm forgetting some bands but when/if i remember i'll post again! :P edit: but i have an album from suzanne vega that my father gave me when i was 12 and i still listen to it! :stunned:
  20. oh i'm not sure either ;)
  21. everything's not lost
  22. coldplay album probably...
  23. R - Remy Zero
  24. why can't i stop thinking about him? it's making me depressive..... why am i so different?
  25. today there is no school/uni in portugal, it's holiday....but yeah lots of things were shown on tv and the news presenter had the red sign on his shirt.... portugal is the country in europe more infected with aids :(
