with how many people have iPods and the like, they'd be stupid to not let you...that will just lead me to download a 2nd copy of the album rather than buy another. as a college student, $20 is enough money for me to scrape together :lol:

I have a class that night, and it is the first day of classes. I'm still (hopefully) going to go.

Well yeah it has been pressed and probably getting ready to ship. But from what I hear it isn't getting to stores as early as CDs usually get to stores for sale (like I think it'll only arrive a couple days before shelf-date...and music stores are pretty good about not opening those boxes before they need be. At least WalMart is...I've tried many times to get them to open them at 11:00pm the night before something goes on sale. I never win.) But for reviewers they had to listen to it on an iPod in a case with an open door and a security guard at the door and could only bring in a pen and paper or something like that. So...I'm not thinking that it's been sent out for review purposes and promo copies -- probably only the record execs are getting those, and they're not likely to put it on any p2p servers (talk about hypocrisy if they did.) I can't use p2p at my dorms, has anyone tried downloading X&Y songs from them? are they fakes? blanks? or did coldplay pull a madonna and put a bunch of tracks from the album up there saying "what the f*ck do you think you're doing?" :D That'd be pretty much the most fun thing to remix.

yeah it definitely is a rockin song. i liked it alot, but i didn't think of it as the new yellow. i'll have to hear the final verdict after hearing the studio (21 days!)

If he says for sure, someone'll turn him in. and then he can't play it and looks like a liar. this way he gets lots of listeners, probably doesn't have it -- but alot of people don't want to risk it (i don't ... but i can't stay up till 5)

UCLA eh? can we listen online -- if anyone is up -- that's like 3-5 am here, so i doubt i will be...but if someone can and if they do -- record it and put it up here for the rest of us.

in Boston they were $30, yeah i've seen them for like $50 and that is too much in my opinion.

i made a desktop calendar for coldplaying :D here's what you do: download this file http://s37.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2RWQAX14ZF5133O2CBWT49QCF5 (it's an html file) then go to your desktop (i doubt this will work for anything other than Windows) right click on your desktop -- click properties. then the desktop tab. then click customize desktop. then click the web tab, once there you should see some buttons on your right. click the 'new' button and find where you saved the file (countdown.html) and choose that. then okay out of everything and there should be a countdown to X&Y there. it's fully resizable and moveable -- so move it to wherever you want on the desktop and resize it so it looks right (mine always comes out weird.) also, the hours part is a little off -- i used the mugglenet one as a template and just designed it for X&Y -- i don't know how to fix that...but the day is right and that's all that matters anyway. any questions, or if it doesn't work...lemme know :idea2:

Has anyone heard if they've won yet? I checked my e-mail at like 4:00am and nothing -- but I didn't see anyone on here saying they won...would've thought at least one member is going?
