  1. Am I the only one that voted for Parachutes? Even though it's not even a minute long, I love it! It's like one of my faves.
  2. Or you could trade places with mee! Well, KM and I probably live in the same area soo... And KM-- omg, my parents ALWAYS make fun of Coldplay. Especially the Scientist. "NObody SAID it was eeeesaaaaay..." The Man Walking Backwards, is what my mom calls it, referring to the video. :D
  3. Thankfully, they aren't the kind of aloof band where they walk around in broad daylight with dark sunglasses on.
  4. I wish I could just see them. :)
  5. Haha I converted some people. One of them, my friend Becca. See, I was trying to persuade her to like Coldplay in 6th grade, but she hated Coldplay, and I bet her 50 bucks that by 7th grade she would like them. Then one day in 7th grade, she's like "I like Coldplay now. You got me into it." So if we remembered that bet, I would be 50 dollars richer. :smug: Then... my mom, from this year. She always kinda liked Coldplay, but now she actually knows who Chris Martin is! I play piano so my mom uses Coldplay as an excuse for me to practice piano more. "Don't you wanna grow up to play like Chris Martin?" LMAO. Hey, it worked, anyways. Then... well... I *almost* converted my dad. My dad's not very musical, so the fact that he likes anything is like a miracle. In 2003, Clocks was played in some comercial and my dad's like "Ya know, I like this. See, you should play music like this." But noooowww... he always gets annoyed when I play Coldplay. He's like "Ugh. Turn this off." Jeez, my dad is so fickle.
  6. Hahaha I knooow! Whenever I'm cleaning up my room, I always stumble upon my old manuscripts and I think "Oh joy." I should show it to my kids one day.
  7. So lemme guess... you're in 10th grade? Lol I'm in 8th. So I got into them when I was like around 10-11. Hell, I wasn't much of a "little kid" growing up. I was listening to Foo Fighters and Weezer and watched Friends when I was 6. All thanks to my waaay older siblings. :P
  8. Haha Nettie.. fuch off, man? Is that an H or a K? :P
  9. lol yeah. When I was younger, I used to write "mystery" stories. Now, I was like 9 or 10 and I was ooobbssseeessssed with this British author, Enid Blyton. I've prolly read every book she wrote. So basically everything that I wrote was a replica of her books. And since she was a children's author, it was like reaaally crappy. And since the books were British, and I couldn't be more American, it was SOOO dumb coming from me! "Why Johnny, what a jolly idea! Shall we have tea?" LMFAO. I was such a dork.
  10. Haha whenever I write fanfics (mostly on Alias) they always turn out soo cliche. Umm... yeah, now I'm sticking to short, non-alias stories.
  11. Warning Sign was my first favorite Coldplay song. Ohh the love. *nostalgic*
  12. Well, the thing with music is in my family is... it starts with my brother, gets passed down to my sister, then to me. So my brother and sister heard Yellow being played in a commercial back in 2000 and my sister was like "ooh I like that song" then they downloaded it and then... voila! I remember my brother bought the Parachutes CD sometime in 2001 and I thought nothing of it, I remember. I think he just wanted to show me the cool yellow globe or something. Then in about 2003 I became hooked. I remember that was the year that my brother saw Will and I bought the Live 2003. So it was definitely before December 2003. :P I have yet to figure out when exactly I heard Coldplay.
  13. Haha my friend and I did the = on our hands. She did a black sharpie on her right hand, and I did a green sharpie on my left.
  14. Awwwww... that's so cute! Like widdle brotherssss :) God I love the Coldplay brotherly love.
  15. Yeah that's true... but that'd be sad if by her 6th month, and they don't confirm it, the tabloids will be like "Gwyneth's stocking weight gain!" Oh I looove seeing those. They're soo funny!
  16. Laaaaddderr to the suuuuuun... :P
  17. It looks like he's giving half 'the finger'... LMAO! LMAO! I just noticed that. That's hilarious!!

Haha seriously? I love the radio. Greenday? Holy crap. So sick of it. *pukes* But Jimmy Eat World and Foo Fighters? HECKYES. :D
  19. Aliasfan13 replied to erick's topic in Coldplay
Lol yeah, but like the young-ish, new-ish ones... like Lindsay and uhhh... what's her face? Oh Hilary Duff and uhh... Ryan Cabrera and... Oh I dunno. And most emo/punk bands. But that's just me.
  20. I love that part where the robot "wakes up" and they're all "Ooooh the powwwer!" and then they blink like idiots. So funnyyy.
  21. Aliasfan13 replied to erick's topic in Coldplay
Wow, I wouldn't think Coldplay would get nominated at all... I guess it's not just strictly American music. I watched parts of it, but yeah, American singers are crap on a stick nowadays.
  22. Yeah, you can see a bit of a bump there. Even if it's just because of the coat, I don't think it would make such a big bump especially since she prolly has a flat stomach when she's fit.
  23. Nah, I think it's a wig. And KM, fyi, the whole Paltrow family was there at our concert! Someone had taken some pics of her at the concert. Apparently Blythe, Jake, Apple.... everyone was there!
