For them, it's not about the money, it's about making different music.

The band has always had a huge fanbase, they know that whatever they release will turn into gold. They don't even have to have chris sing on an album and it will sell[emoji23] Oldplayers, Newplayers, it doesn't matter who u are. The band doesn't care. They just like to explore different sounds. Regarding the music sales, viva's sales and GS sales differ dramatically, GS has sold way less than Viva, it just went platinum a couple of days ago, where as viva went platinum in it's first week. It doesn't matter how much or how little the band sell, they don't care about record sales. All i'm saying is that the band will continue to make music, it doesn't matter how bad a lot of the fans want the old style coldplay back.

MX and GS are actually my least favorite albums but i still bought both of them and listen to them all the time. I only skip a few songs, princess of china, midnight, and ASFOS. I will continue to support and listen to the band no matter what. I even ripped amazing day from youtube to my itunes. [emoji23]

I guess I could see the song being the album opener. As the album progresses, it gets louder and rockier. It's a beautiful song, but to me, i expect the new album to be louder and more upbeat than amazing day.

It will be very different. The new album will have horns on it. I hope it's not on the album either. I think Amazing day was for the global citizen festival only because before he introduced the song, chris said "I know we all care about the environment, about the animals, and the earth. This song is about the wonderful things on Earth." That leads me to believe he wrote the song specifically for festival.

It won't be electronic or ambient. That was GS. This album will be way different.
