Since they've been working on it since october of last year, they should be done with recording in june or july then mixing and mastering should come in october or november. I think it'll be released early next year.

i hope we see something related to the new album soon. whether its a gif, a video or a picture. i'll be so excited :D

That sounds cool. I had a dream about coldplay too. Their new songs were dark in tone and sound, it was rock and roll. It sounded cool. Also i had dream that a head full of dreams was released as a two disc album. Lol. It was interesting.

i believe coldplay's new songs are going to be about hope, never losing hope.

this thread isn't pointless. it's interesting to hear everyone's opinions. when the album comes out, this thread will blow up with comments about the new album. Everyone has the right to say whatever they want.

that's true. i don't hate the song either. it's ok. it's just that coldplay don't need anyone on their songs, they are great when it's just chris singing.

2003 is more emotional and that's why it's still my favorite.

coldplay can't please everyone. haha. The next album will be loud though that's for sure.

If coldplay makes another pop album with rihanna, i'll be very disappointed :(

The first single will be loud and colorful, that's for sure because for ghost stories- magic was cool and chill.

I'm not saying they should recreate an era or an album because that's not what coldplay does. What i mean is that they should return to making alternative rock music.

I wish they could revisit the x&y style or arobtth style of music. I think they owe it to us because they haven't made anything like that since. Besides, if i was them, i'd miss that style. Those were the best coldplay songs ever made :D

Mx was ok but seemed a little forced like you said, to be honest I miss will's drumming the most. In these last two albums, he was real quiet. I hope he goes back to his regular drumset in ahfod instead of electronic drums.

Yes it would, but I don't think that'll happen.

It would be nuts if coldplay made lp7 with a mix of all their music so far.
