It's good to be here! I'm up in northern Wisconsin, where the men are men and the deer run scared... Seriously, I only first heard Coldplay last spring when I bought "A Rush of Blood to the Head" - I had heard of 'em, but never actually their songs (no, not even "Yellow" or "Clocks": FM radio is lousy here so I never listen to it). At first I thought "This is okay, but nothing special." Then, one day BANG - I was hooked! I got "Parachutes" and "X&Y" in short order and right after that "Live 2003." I haven't been gobsmacked by a band like this since "London Calling" (yes, I'm older 'n hell).

I just joined today, and I am a huge coldplay freak.

Auckland (stinking hot Auckland to be correct) Hi - what a cool website - I would have introduced my self earlier but I get addicted to having meaningless & endless conversations with Arnie. I am loving some of the downloads here, rare stuff, and specially the Live stuff! I also appreciate the other bands & music that get posted here, I like it that although it is a Coldplay site, you are not too anal about other music! Anyway! Coldplay head to Aussie in June (would be NZ but we can't get our crap sorted to finish off a new indoor venue- dont ask!) so we fly to Australia! Lookin forward to it, needing that LIVE fix.

Hello Coldplayers! My name is Paula, and I'm from Seattle, Washington in the United States. I'm "old" - 46 - but I look and feel like I'm 29. I'm a graduate student in mental health counseling, I have two cats, and I JUST SAW COLDPLAY ON WEDNESDAY, 25 JANUARY 2006!!!! It was one of THE best concerts I've ever seen, and I've seen a whole bunch of 'em in my days. We had 8th row tickets on the floor, so I was able to see Chris' baby blue eyes, and he ran right by us - twice - to do his "singing in the audience" bit. Superb show! Hey, Im new to these message boards, Ive been a Coldplay fan since I heard the scientist on the radio about a year ago. I have been a pianist for about 5 yeras now ( not as a profession just recreational) and I set out to play the scientist on my piano. Since then I have been using my keyboards and piano to replicate many Coldplay songs, I love the band, they're amazing, lol. I was just at the Vancouver concert on the 26th. Anyways Peace
