Hi to everyone, I am Joanne and I have only just joined but have been a coldplay fan for a long time now. Went to see them at the Reebok stadium earlier this year where they filmed the 'fix you' video.

Ok.....My name is Paul, but my friends call me Crunchie (because once they decided if I wore brown, I'd look like a Crunchie bar - don't ask!) and I live in Belfast. Em, seen Coldplay 5 times. First heard them on Steve Lamacq about 7 years ago (whenever Shiver was out or something) and loved what I heard - stuck with em ever since! I'm also into Travis in a big way, I love them! Other musical influences are Pink Floyd, The Doors, Hal, Neil Young, The Verve, etc etc. I say influences, because......... I play the guitar, and have been since I was 8 (I'm now 19). Hi, well I'm not very good at introductions but what the hell. Um, well I first found Coldplay in a bargain bin, yay cheap stuff FTW, it was Parachutes. Loved it bought AROBTTH. Here I kinda lost Coldplay. :cry: You know things happen, accidents, losses etc. X&Y came out. Thought it was a obviously sexist album and that the band so certainly must have screwed themselves, went to the mid-night opening, threw my money at the guy and ended up here :P . I have just joined and thought I'd introduced myself. My name is Vikki and I am a student. I have only fairly recently discovered Coldplay, partly due to the fact that my mum (who's 65!) bought X&Y!! :cool: However, I have since bought their albums and working my way through getting hold of some of their B-sides and other releases. I only wished I had got into them sooner, as have not yet been able to see them live :cry: Hopefully, one day though! Anyway, a big hello to everyone!

Hi, I am new here, first saw coldplay back in 2000/01?? when they played Newcastle Uni, even though Chris said its took them 103 gigs to come to Newcastle the other night. Not sure if he meant come back. BTW any more spamming on the official forum, and I will break your fricking legs!! :lol:
